Grinding, and coaching

So I've been playing a lot of full ring recently. My shot at 100NL started brilliantly and got progressively worse, and I ended up going on a $1k downswing, my biggest ever. Not much I can do about it apart from pick myself up the floor and get back grinding, so that's what I've been doing.

I've also started getting coaching from citizenwind, a prominent CardRunners coach. Sorry to defect DC guys, but he is a fantastic coach. I've had one session, and 3 more lined up in the future, and I think it will kick my game up to the next level.

And looking at my PTR page, I can't help but feel that the 25NL SH stats don't do my current game justice. Back when I played 25NL 6max as my main game, I was a much, much weaker player than I am now. So, in the spirit of self-improvement (and proving something to myself) I've decided to try to win back all the money I lost at 25NL, which was approximately $900 at its worst.

Here's my graph of the recent 25NL play I've done:

Sucks to be so much below EV, but I definitely feel that I'm doing something right and can beat the games in the long-run. I'm going to be grinding a lot of 25NL SH for the next couple of weeks to see what I can do, and get some confidence in my 6max game. I'll probably still play a decent amount of FR over this time as well.

And lastly, of the 13k hand in that graph above, over 7k of those were today. 16 tabling on a netbook bot using any AHKs isn't easy, but it's pretty fun.
