Planning for next week
So it has been two days since my last post. You need to forgive my English I am tired and I can’t really do any better at the moment. I have done ok the last couple of days. Since last post I played a couple of thousand hands on both 100NL and 200NL, which an avarage and therefor boring result.
Planning for the next 7 days,
Thursday:
On thursday I need I coach for 2.5 hours and besides that I want to play three sessions of which two are 4tabling and 1 is 6tabling. All my sessions will be 1.5-2 hours long. Of these three sessions I will record two with camtasia for myself to analyse.
Friday:
This Friday I will go over, for dinner, to my brother. Therefor I don’t plan on playing any sessions since this will cut my day is half. Instead I will review the two recorded sessions of Thrusday.
Saturday:
Don’t we all just love saturdays for grinding? I know I do. I have got nothing planned untill the evening so I want to play 4 sessions, 2×4tables, 2times 6tables. Again I will record three of those sessions for later analyses.
Sunday:
Don’t we all just love Sundays for grinding? I know I do. A friend of mine might come over to play the sunday majors in which case I won’t play any cashgames this sunday. If my friend doesn’t have time to donk tournaments I will again play 4 sessions, 2×4, 2×6 and will again record 2 of those.
Monday:
After a long weekend finally we have come to the well deserved week days off. Well not really because I still have 8 hours of video for me to watch and think about.
Tuesday:
Meeting my girlfiend in the evening I should still be able to squeeze in 3 sessions of 2×4 1×6, recording 2 of those.
Wednesday:
This is unsure because my girlfriend will wake up next to me I might go do something fun with here, if she isn’t busy with school stuff. I will at least look at the videos that I made on Tuesday and perhaps play a session or 2.
Allthough I played mainly 200NL the last couple of days I will only play 100NL for this schedule. This is because I normally play more than 4/6 tables and in the past I have lost a lot when I did play only 4. I guess I got bored.
The schedule is really repetative but that is not a bad thing I think. As you can see I am going to focus on analysing my own game this week and not so much on playing a lot of hands. This week there is no real room for posting hands or reacting to topics so that has to wait for 7 more days.
Being stoned..???
Normally when I play I am stoned… I started playing stoned about 2 years ago and it really helped me playing my A-/B game for long streches of time. I could just play 4-6hours on 8 tables and still win money never playing really bad. The only problem is I also never play my A+ game and since I really want to focus on getting better and analyse stuff this week I will not play when I am stoned.
Introducing the fictional bankroll. I want to keep everyone updated with my progress in this week and therefor I want to introduce a fictional bankroll of 3Keuro. My real bankroll is not important so I just set it at 3Keuro right now and we go from there. In this updates I will include bonusses and rakeback.
Rewards for readers:
Disclaimer:
I don’t want to have to prove anything afterwards so you will just need to trust me.
For every poker related hour I planned here that I do not execute or am stoned. during this week. I will give away 15minutes of free microstakes coaching. This can only be given in packages of one hour and the 15 minutes will keep adding up. Meaning that if I mess up 3 hours this week no one gets coacht, but I begin the next time that I make a planning with 45minutes penalty allready.
I will reward the one that follows my blog and makes some good comments(and plays microstakes).

Hi Loon ! It's nice to see that you're sticking to your "A Fresh Start" plan. But man i was always afraid to play poker stoned... but if you did well while stoned then i guess i can try it :D. Anyway, Have a nice week and enjoy yourself !

I really like how you planned out your week. I do the same thing on my white boards, but have stopped recently because I started to fall behind. I think breaking it down into "Must Do" and "If Time" would also help. Like you can say I must play 3 sessions today and if time I'll review my session, post hands or what have you. That way it's listed and still in your mind during the week.
I believe today I will go an update my boards and see if I can get back into the groove of things.

Hey Ruben. I already told you on Skype, but yeah, I think having a playing/studying schedule makes it a whole lot easier to get hands in and stay on your game. If you try to do it whenever you feel like playing, a lot of times you'll just skip and not get nearly as many hands in.
Keep crushing, imo!

I like how you plan to exclude being under the influence while playing poker. It's a right choice. I'm impressed on how you can plan your whole weeks out in advanced. I wish I were able to do that and keep to it.

Hmm, so you have analysed what are the pros and cons of the stoned state vs the body is a temple state?
What's the differences? Is it an aim to take the benefits (playing longer/more relaxes/less tilt??) and then tey to include these when playing your A+ game?
Good luck with it.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
@Mykill
Good idea about " if time" will use this in the future.
@G586
If I play stoned I just never play very bad but not very good either, this is really nice if you like to multitable for long hours. Now I plan to play shorter sessions and less tables so there are no real advantages to playing stoned. So I just play sober and try to play A+ almost all the time
