Well tonight capped off a + week for me and my account, between 1/2 and mtts this week i finished up right around 3.5 to 4k on the week. Probably one of my better in a while, which is pretty sad because I really had a great shot to win the Sunday Second Chance tonight on Pokerstars. First was over 42k and I was in decent shape going into the final two tables. But the story of my last few months arose again, I went extremely card dead at the wrong time, mixed in with a pretty tough, aggressive table… out in 10th for probably the 15th time in the last few months. I feel fantastic about how I played the entire tournament and went out AQo<33 jammin 12bb utg when his range is surely Ax sooted+ and k10sooted . He just wakes with the pair and I lose the biggest race of the tourny for myself. I ran well in the mid stages then went aq<aj of MoormanI who is considered the top mtt player in the game online right now for a massive pot. Soon after I had to fold AQ utg to his utg1 3b and I was hating life. At this point blinds were 2/400 w/ante and woke up with 1010> kj a few hands later. I bought my time and mixed with in with a great image finally put AA>kj and rolled from there. Im so due to win something its getting absurd, I played sloppy at times over the last few months but when I have put myself in great spots I definitely haven’t been rewarded in any way shape or form between pokerstars or ftp.

The last few weeks i’ve basically switched strictly to pstars to regain my supernova which I lost while in vegas this summer. MTTs are such a sick grind but I really do love them deep down because I can get really excited deep, and when im on my game i’m extremely tough to play against. Just hasn’t showed up lately, and i’ve really dropped off the pace I wanted to be at in them by the end of the year. I know one mtt can change that but having to play cash to keep my roll balanced from coming close to being backed is pretty frustrating even though it is something I keep my pride in. I’ve really got a nice flow for how 200nl is playing these days and have to be one of the toughest players to go up against in those games daily. 400nl will be a diffent story when I go back there and will have at least 150 buyins behind when im playing 400nl hu. Anyways there definitly was some vent in this post, its just because I feel so close to a big score, yet so far away sometimes. A final table in a major has always been a goal of mine so to come so close and miss is def a disapointment. Whatever im over it haha.

This coming week I have a hockey game tomorrow night, looking to improve our record of 1-0 yea we won our first game thats right. I need to get my goalie mask fixed before the game so i’ll be taking care of that at some point tomorrow. Then back to work out quickly and try to get in a little better shape before winter rolls around. Poker wise, Cash games all week hopefully a 10buyin+ week and keep playing mtts here and there till i ship something. Good luck to everyone this week!
