Long time coming

Well I basically have disappeard the last few months from this blog :/ I was supposed to keep something like this too keep me on track and make sure I stay consistent with my game progressing. Anyways, Vegas came and went this summer and I logged about 3-4 posts haha. Since then i’ve moved into a new apartment and become pretty involved with trying to get myself out of the downswing online that im currently in. I’m not sure if its more a combination of things, but mtts online have really just crushed my BR. Along with a tough stint at 2/4 hu which I ran awful but playd bad as well at some points was given a reality check that I can go money way faster than I thought. I’ve always had very good management with my money and has helpd me from not ever seeking out to be backed online, which quite a few friends of mine are under for MTTs. I’ve worked hard over the last year or so to play on my own money because i’m very confident in my game and think I have potenital for a big 5 figure or even 6 figure score in an MTT eventually. If I can be on my own for one of those scores I will have a much better idea of what I can play while managing a 50k+ roll without having to worry about dropping down levels.

At my peak during the begininng of summer I was playing 2/4 and 3/6 nl finally and playing any mtts other than the 1ks that I really pleased. It was great because I felt like I was ready to make the leap to the next level of all high stakes mtts, and 5/10nl which has always been a goal of mine. Things just didn’t turn out that way, I lacked some table selection as I wanted to test myself and see just how big swings can be at the lvl by playing against some of the better players and feel that i’m close probably about as close as I’ve felt since early this summer. I would like to be back to playing as a regular in the 2/4 games on stars, i’m just going to prove to myself first that I can beat 1/2 like I think I can by trying to win 10k or 50 buyins by the end of october. Along the way I will be sparaticlly playing mtts still because I feel im very close to a big score in those as well, just need to maintain a better focus late in them. It was such a mental grind in those when you are playing well but when you are you can just kill it and pull up a years salary which is pretty awesome.

Luckily live I’ve had two of those type of scores this year, sick brag huh lol. Either way that allowed me to try to push my limits online a little more even though I keep the rolls completely separate. Anyways i def expected my frist post back to be a ramble but i’ll post again soon with an update for how things are going. Today i’m playing 6max 200nl then a Hockey game tonight, my first game playing goalie since junior year of college. Wish me luck! gl guys
