This is probably been the busiest time of my life so far, im just trying to keep up with everything going on out here. The Main Event is coming up very quickly here, with so much to do in between! The events for the next few days look great, $2100NL at Venetian tomorrorow, $1500 NL WSOP Saturday, and 3k WSOP on sunday. Hopefully I can get to a day two somewhere along the line during this stretch. I really feel like I have some good runs left in me if I can build a stack early in some of these events early. I played the $2500 Mixed Event yesterday and for the first time on the trip really wasn’t pleased with my play at the table. I had an extremely tough table draw which consisted of : Gavin Griffin, Aaron Kanter, two players from Netherlands getting solid press from Pokernews, 25/50 plo player, Ryan Bluf, and 2 other reasonably solid players. I was able to work my starting stack of 7500 up to 15k at one point, then proceeded to run a terrible bluff vs Gavin where I floated a 974 Check raise with J10c with a gutter and backdoor clubs. He checked the turn, which was a blank 5. I should have bet the turn and shoved the river and I guarantee it would have worked. Instead I went with the approach of how to play the hand poorly. I checked behind, blank river, gavin checks I fire 2025 on the river he snaps me faster than I can sneeze and I muck my J high. I was down to 12ish after that, and moved to the limit rounds which were pretty brutal for structure. I finally had it fold to me in MP and spaz raised up k9o and got 3b on the button to 1200. I call and the flop comes K8q, i check call, turn 4, I check raised, river Q i bet and he calls with AA. Doubt I could play worse. Anyways the fixed rounds were just to big, I 3b the Sb raise to me which we agreed to cap preflop with KJo. He threw in my final bet on the qxx flop and his q9o holds, gg me.

5 of my roomates bricked out as well yesterday it just wasn’t a good day poker wise for everyone. I grinded out some 2/4 nl online when I got home and won 2 buyins which was a small change online for me lol. We play a good amount of Fifa and halo on the side when we get back late night and its a good time for the most part. Two of the roomates Jon and tyson are playing the $1500 plo hi low today so GL them. Time for someone in the house to make another serious run. Jason finished 12th in the Venetian 1k from sunday since then its been very slow. I’ll be playing 5/10nl tonight and catching the NBA draft tonight. Hope all is well with everyone. -Glenn
