I finally made it after a long day of traveling, but i’m at the 2009 World Series of poker. It’s a zoo here, wow. Our house is awesome, TV’s in every room, kitchens nice, bedrooms nice, pool, hot tub. This is what I hoped it would be like when I got to this stage of my poker career, just gotta follow through with a ship out here now. One of the kids i’m rooming with is still in the Venetian 320 from yesterday. First in 58k, hes sitting top 5 so hopefully someone can the trip started off on the right foot. 2 of the other guys are playing the first WSOP 1k event today which capped last night at 3000 runners forcing my late registration to put me on Day 2 which expects a similar number of players. Should be awesome. I reviewed Jason’s tournament schedule that he put together for the events this summer, and potential just looks amazing for so many events.

Poker wise i’ll probably run some sattys and Cash games later in the night. Just a lot to get all at once, so i’m sure it will take me a day or 2 to get a good feel for the casino, where im going, and find the best way to manage my time. Will be good to meet some of the players i know from online, and just get the trip started on the right direction for my poker game. Going to start getting ready to head out soon and get this adventure started. Good luck to everyone out here for the series, should be a great one.
