What a good feeling that is finally! I was able to ship the Pstars 55$ 40k Guar for 10.5k no choppin tonighttt. Honestly the money is nice but its such a great feeling to win a tournament again after so long and so many close calls over the last 8-12 months. I also FTd the 30r 6max for 4th place, disapointing but had a tough ft that I was going to have to run well vs. I reshoved 67h from the bb vs blackfourz sb raise and ran into 66 shoving 19bbish. Not the hand to run into there vs the cl. That paid 1.5k so overall a nice day finally.

Back to the 40k ft, I came in sitting 5/9 and had an early roller coaster going from 3rd to 9th at one point sitting with 20bbish after trying to do something to seperate myself from the pack. There were no big names there and I felt that everyone really was going to make an effort to let people get knockd out to money up for themselfs. It just didn’t happen and I was forced to sit back and wait for a hand. 1010 finally showd up and restole an ep raise and then pickd up a pot or two to put myself back in ok shape. A few players donked around some chips and we got down to 5 quick after 30min of no one going out. I was able to pick my spots well and eventually got 3 handed where we looked at the numbers all with identical stacks basically. I had an edge with 50bb so passed on the chop much to the disapointment of the other 2 players. One of them more vocal than the other. About 5 hands later after i’d been 3b twice already I woke up with AQo outta the bb after the sb opnd. I 3b and we got it in AQ vs 77 and binkd an ace on the flop, go me finally. HU lasted about another 30min getting it in AJd vs A6o once and he binkd a 6. I was able to put some good value bets out and wasnt caught bluffing in my two big pots which was nice and finally got it in AJd vs 22 for the win turning Jc :) Hopefully this will bring me some serious momentum for the future because it feels great to win something. Tomorrow I have to seriously finish my tax papers and add everything up from my live scores last year. I’ll hopefully hit the gym in the late morning and go from there.

I really hope I can spiral this into something big the next few weeks because im at a standstill for cash games I feel like right now and really need a big score to get the coaches I’d like for the bigger games. A 25k score would do me very well in the next 2 weeks before the Foxwoods Poker classic and then onto the NAPT for the series there. Hopefully the start of big things to come.
