Break even stretch
Well its been a really slow last two weeks poker wise, pretty frustrating at times because its at 200nl but thats how its gotta be sometimes. I haven’t logged any MTT volume online except for a sunday here and there which get expensive fast, especailly when I forgot how to win a tournament ugh. I can’t believe thats how I used to make my money blah. Anyways things were going decent online during october I made a decent profit playing a lot of 1/2 and covered all my mtts and got my game back in the right direction. End of October I went down to Foxwoods for the World Poker Finals and played in 4 events, a 1k, 600, and two 500s. Bricked them all but won 12kish playing a lot of 2/5 and a night of 5/10 with 2k cap buyin. It was a successful trip because I showed myself that I can really do damage esspecially with my style at a 2/5 game where they think im the biggest monkey/run hot ever when im on. Since that trip I had one big day online and went on a downswing of 7k ish or so between ftops, a few buyings at 2/4nl which was a joke how bad that went and then 1/2 and mtts have just been ice lately.
All in all i’d like to swing back +5k by the end of the month without having much time for volume at all because of busy weekends like the Patriots vs Jets game which my GF got me tickets to this weeknd! Its my 2nd NFL game i’ve been too and my first at Gillette Stadium where the Pats play their home games. Should be a lot of fun. Monday through Wed i’d like to put in a ton of cash hands and see what I can do along with mtts.
Lastly is I’ve been thinking about getting a coach for a long time and have always delayed it for whatever reason. I just don’t know how to pick the best coach for my style and really would like to choose a top notch one if im going to invest in one. Every coach is going to say they are a great one, but I need to invest in one that can put me into the next category of a player that puts out a big profit at the midstakes games each month. When I hit my next MTT score i’m definitly going to invest in one and go see where it goes from there. Anyways till then, lots of 1/2 and hopefully swing this in the right direction.
