I am a big proponent of using correct grammer, punctuation etc. but is it really necessary to post these matters in the thread where he is trying to be genuine and clear the air? If it was that important maybe you could PM him or something but tbh the only thing more silly than calling him out for his punctuation is that 2P2 banned you for it imho.

I agree that it wasn't a big deal. Had my original post been allowed to stay, people would have known that it clearly stated "I realize this detail is insignificant." My whole point was more about presenting a professional image rather than simple capitalization. His position is different than just a random NVGtard imo. My post was composed in a polite manner and at the very least it could have been allowed to stay and be ignored. As you said, banning me just showed the ludicrous nature with which 2p2 governs its people.

Who cares? it seems to me like 2p2 has long outlived it's usefulness anyway.

In the future, I'll be sure to compose proper posts filled with "fucking ridiculous" and "STFU." I think it's very funny that he made no mention of the person who quoted my original post stating "I agree, a professional image is important." He deleted that post too and conveniently left it out.

It's worth noting that I AGREE it is a minor detail, but to suggest that mentioning it will scare Sebok away like a fragile bunny is laughable.

The problem with 4 is that there is very little consistency in the mods rulings of what is allowed and what isnt. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I like how the random 2+2 reg thinks that only a ten year old would care about proper form. In fact I think that sums up 2+2 as a whole, like a beautiful transcendent butterfly.

I only spend time in the legislation forum. Occasionally when I need my crack fix I will go to NVG.

The only reason I went to the thread in the first place was because aumorgan linked me to it in Skype. It's pretty much all his fault.

So your post got deleted, which showed you that they didn't like that you posted it in the first place, and you just posted it again.

The least they could have done was tell me why. So I posted again and asked if I broke a rule. Then they deleted that one so I posted again simply asking them to tell me why. Then they sent me the explanation and banned me.

It was only a 24 hour ban and I laughed at their infraction point system. If I cared that much, I could easily set up a new account. So yes, I guess I did do it to myself, and I'm proud to have done it :) Getting banned in this manner is a badge of honor imo.

2p2 has its uses, though few and far between. even though the sebok post is obv a joke and he's a blank slate of a puppet, hassling about grammatical prowess is pretty tacky. it's like you woke up and saw Tackmo Super Lol when you signed into 2p2.

@Aguar, I see the side of this of it being tacky, but if I was running a site, I would prefer it if my representatives adhered to a certain level of professionalism. I realize the audience mostly consists of a bunch of immature kids who no nothing of the professional world, but it IS important to maintain a certain image, even if you're simply posting on a forum. The fact that the topic at hand was a serious one only calls for it even more.

Considering he openly threatened someone via Twitter and involved the company he represents I would say his professionalism is already in tatters with or without proper grammar. I think you have to look at this as an aside: Is banning someone for complaining about grammar, well, just dumb? I don't see why Tecmo shouldn't have been allowed to keep one post about it, it's not like he was actively trolling Sebok. The idea that because someone questions his poor communication skills he's going to run away from the thread like a startled gazelle is ridiculous.

Haha good point. I'm guessing proper semicolon usage wouldn't cover up the rest of his flaws in that thread :)

And to the point of him running away, my simple request was far more polite than what many are saying about him in that exact thread.
