Bodog restructured their loyalty scheme (read: rakeback) couple of weeks ago and I had an option to join the site now (benefits!) or later (no benefits!). I hastily withdraw some of my roll from FT and managed to confirm my new account just hours before the deadline. Great success! Quite interesting site, to be honest. Max tables = 4, fishiness = close to infinity. Dabbled around in NL200 for starters, felt like NL25 at FT. Like I can point out 5 major leaks for every reg. Software is a bit awkward, but compared to the cesspool of Pacific, it's playable.
In general, I've played around 5K hands since my last entry. I'm getting absolutely hammered at work and had no motivation to stress myself even more with poker. Been following DC, though.. Don't know if it's just me, but there seems to be a smaller amount of videos being published per week lately.
Thinking about moving all my roll to Bodog and starting right away with NL200... not sure though.

sup guys, I guess the title is self-explanatory. I'm downswinging quite nicely at the moment. Interestingly enough, it has really not affected my game or mood. Having 40BIs and being immune to tilt also helps. I'll post some hands where I probably made some bad decisions, I appriciate any comments:

Finished with around 15K hands and 11 BIs + RB, so quite OKish results. Tried to 'fix' my blind play by picking spots where to 3bet and where to take a more passive line for value. Running breakeven from SB and I think that's quite good result. However BB is still -0.15 PT\BB and I have no idea where I should aim for. I guess somewhere under -10? If anyone knows what good players have, please let me know.
Also noticed from my all time position stats that I'm making 3 times less money from CO than from BTN. I'm pretty sure this is happening because I've been a lazy boy and only 3-betting half as much from CO as from BTN, so that's definately going to change as well.
Due to the new and awesome NL100 video (Moneytrain_to_Midstakeville) by jk3a, my favorite coach, I've been also thinking about approaching poker in a bit more structured way - making sure I get in 5K hands a week (~10h), playing poker instead of thinking about poker. I need confirm this also with my girlfriend, otherwise it will not work 100%.
Well well, things are going quite nicely at the moment, I'm up 11BIs for the last 5K hands and games appear to be quite juicy at FTP. I'm also running good at flips for the last 40k hands, and ran terrible for previous 50k hands. Variance Is a Harsh Mistress.
Today is also the day PTR went premium. I personally embrace this, as recently my poker sessions mostly consisted of playing for half an hour and then furiously refreshing my PTR stats with a semi-hardon. It's like my stats on a webpage matter more than the money I make. Human psyche is a harsh mis... what the fuck??
In other news, summer has finally arrived and I'm enjoying my life. I have a vacation planned for the whole July and will visit Sicily with my girlfriend. Starting from August, I will probably move to Sweden for a couple of months, strictly work related. I'm planning to grind there heavily, as I'll probably have more free time than now.

5K hands this far for the month, still hovering around $0, individual sessions swing for 4-5 buyins, I guess it’s standard for todays games as you need to take lots of flips. To illustrate this, I squeeze 3-handed with AK, 85\65 fish gets the money in with 33 and holds up, fast forward 5 hands, I fistpump ship TT vs the same fish, but run against QQs. Can’t say his play is extremely bad or anything, just variance kicking in.
I’ve been following terp’s SSNL Disease series and must confess it has really helped my game. Identifying spots where to apply pressure has been quite difficult for me. I tended to underestimate my fold equity and ofter wondered about the credibility of my line. Now I’ve started to think about some spots that I would’ve passed before:

Salutations. I returned to my roots and moved my roll to FTP after getting a bonus offer from them and I’m planning to reflect my progress\regress of becoming a solid winner at NL100.
In general, I’m a non-pro player (full-time job), living with a long-term girlfriend, so the amount of hands I can get in is quite limited. The most I’ve reached ever per month is around 30K, average ~15K. Obviously, my goal can only be quality.
DC has been a very helpful resource during my… umm ‘career’, as I don’t have any real-life poker friends. However, recently I’ve felt that I lose quite a lot without a poker buddy with whom to swap thoughts & concepts and get critical feedback etc so I feel quite alone & stuck in my struggles to improve. I’m really fascinated by the game theory & mental aspects of the game, looking to deviate from ‘standard’ lines. Anyway, after clearing the FTP bonus, I’ve logged 38K hands and my profit is $186 (0.25PT/BB).
After analyzing my game, my biggest weakness is definately the lack of aggression. This is also reflected in my sub-par stats (18\12\AF:1.8\3B:4.2). The big gap between vpip&pfr has been intentional to combat the overaggressivness of todays games by taking passive lines IP preflop. However this does not seem to be optimal after all. Probably because being the non-aggressor post-flop is tougher than I expected. Seems also that the preflop part of the game has been at least somewhat solved and if I were to diverge from the standard 22\18 stats, I should change my whole game. Not sure if it’s worth the hassle at NL100.
Been playing 6 tables this far, but will drop to 4 now and try to apply more pressure preflop.
