Tilt blocker!

I finally found a way that makes me more concentrated and less result orientated. And that's by using the tilt blocker.

The tilt blocker adds a red square over your stack, and since you have autorebuy + auto top up on (Right?) you'll always have 100bb.

This will help your play getting more off the thought about the money, and more about playing correctly. This really helped me today. And I made $30 instead of $5 a day, as I tend to do. And I didn't look at the cashier throughout the session once!

If you would like to try out "Tilt Blocker" and try to avoid your Cashier, follow these steps:

1. Download the core first: http://www.autohotkey.com/

2: Download and save the two scripts in a folder: http://overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/RolandsFunctions

3: Download and save the script in same folder: http://overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/AutoHotkeyTiltBlocker?highlight=%28CategoryAutoHotKey%29

4: Run it, and open the latest script you saved as "TiltBlocker.AHK"

5: A red square pops up, and place it over your stack size.

6: Move around with the left mouse, and edit with the right.

PROFIT!

Nice blog. How do you post up hands and graphs? I want to play 20,000 hands at 2NL before moving up regardless of my BR. Also i dont like having my stack constantly topped off i use my stack size as a gauge to how im playing if i see it dwindling down it lets me know something isnt right.

Thanks! I'm using Hold Em Manager, which allows me to track my hands. It also got a graph function, where I can "Save Picture" and upload it.

I used to do the same type of thing as you do, not topping up. Hm, I do think having a stack less than 100bb, makes it some kind of weird playing vs opponents with 100bb. Since you have to adjust your betsizing, since you're commited much sooner.

If you have HEM, or PokerTracker you can track your losses in your HUD when using top up. But you shouldn't be that result orientated! You should take more in consideratin doing the right things, that will earn you the most money in the long run. The thing that will make you most money 9 out of 10 times.

If you think he'll call you with worse hands on the river when you have top pair, betting is + expected value. And if he shows up with some random two pair, that's that 1 out of 10 time.

That's a nice goal to set. I did the same when I had $100. To just confirm that I'm crushing the lowest limit. I'm playing 5NL and had some success, and I'm grinding for 40 buy ins for 10NL and then I'm jumping up! :)
