Ok, I might exagerate by the title, I just think it can be good spoiler

Yesterday @ Muay thai boxing training, we did some sparing... wich I never did before

We switched opponents sometime, but I did like 3 rounds vs a dude who is like 1,5 heads taller than me, with obv more weight. Apparently he also had few years of kung fun in his background.

So yeah, I had no mouthpiece, 1st time vs a taller and stronger opponent. We dont hit like crazy, but one sure thing is this dude would have chewed me up in real ah. Each time I could hit him, he prob land very good hit in my face 5x more ah, minimum.

Well, thats good practice I gues... and after that, + crazy girl in bar, I might get used to take puches or get slap in the face.

Details about the crazy one : I dont know if it was a punch or a slap, I just got it a little bit in the eye, wich was annoying but other wise, no bruises or something like that, I still have my pretty face :)

Final note : I got back my repaired laptop... altought it probably need a format, and I have to wait 1h to boot it after a shutdown....

5h00 am, back from bars and drunk

Normally, I dont post many stuff, because some members of my family read this blog but... this time... I DONT fucking mind

Short story, got my laptop backs o I havent gone out since 2 weeks... then in the chat some guys go out for a beer and pool.. Im like ok, just 1 or 2 beers, pool game and I go back home...

Ended , I went to a gogo-bar, then to Spicey... wich is like.. all crazy bar girls place...

Im there with my friend and at some point, I see a girl, I offer her a drink, we dance, shes awesome then.. !

A girl, I see in this place like 2-3 weeks ago.. is there.. in short... 3 x I saw this girl :

1- We dance, I take her back , but we are so wasted, we just sleep, she left in the morning, end of the story

2 - I see her in the same place fews days later, we dance, we go back to my place but im soooo drunk I dont take the same direction, etc etc, ended up back to the Spicey, she came back and see me talk with her friend and go crazy about the fact I want to fuck her friend instead of her...im like WTF... she is crazy and I go back home alone (new year Eve, )

3- I see her again few days later at a bar, a friend of me explain her that last time, #2, is just a miss understanding, then she talk to me and she is ok, sorry ,e tc... then I see her at an other bar later, we dance, etc... I take her back home again but we are so wasted and its like 5h00 am , we just sleep, again

And I take her back to her place early in the morning..

THEN

Today, I go out for smooth beer and pool with the guys... and obv, it end up to this place.. AGAIN... I never had problems before because , Im not a guy who is lookig for trouble...so back to the beginning... Im at this bar, I dance with this awesome girl and this girl , I havent seen since... 2 weeks is there... and see me with this girl

And then she go after me, and then blabla, something about I didnt called her back... OF COURSE, she is always drunk, and when she is drunk, she is fucking insane !

Obv, she didnt called me back either, so she is to blame as well... then I just try to explain her, she is not my gf, and she go crazy... and I dont heard what she say... mucis is too loud...

THen WTF, she stard to get fucked and push me... then she fucking HIT ME in the face... shit.. im too drunk to evade her attack... but enough ok to not hit her... I still have some respect.. cmon

And her friend is stopping her and taking her slowly to the 1st floor, and I guess, outside the bar... and im like.. shit, she is fucking insane

And obviously, the other girl I was dancy with is like : WTF, he have a girlfriend, I dont want troubles... and I try to make her understand, that the other girl is not my girlfriend, that I dont have girlfriend, and the other one is just jealous...

Beat : Shit, Ive never expected that to happen... I mean WTF, its not like I had a gf or something like that... and she didnt even called me back.... INsanE fucking girl

BRag : Apparently , my charm is still working, and even if im 27, after few girls, they say im around 23 .... and I have a beard, wich make me look like a little bit older..

Variance : Thank to my friend Alex, who seem to speak more thai than I do, he explained to the girl it was just a missunderstanding...

Hopefully, I can get some picture of the nice girl.

Btw... what is my play with the crazy one ? Send her a sms asking her WTF, and hopefully she is not so angry to make me scared to get stabbed sometime in my sleep \?

The Skype Chat include many pokers players in Chiang Mai, and the chat is pretty epic, but you have to be in it so get access to all kinda success stories.

Apparently, im starting to almost forget about the fact someone, somewhere in Chiang Mai , is trying to fix my computer.

Either this is very hard or he have no clue, na ?

For the rest, im a little bit more quiet now I have an other laptop, = grind more and poker, have to pay for stuff !

That and I keep going 3x a week , training thai boxing, its awesome , fun and it keep me in shape. (+ its where poker action is quiet = win-win)

Driving the scooter is still always funny , those who like bikes you are well served here. (I know, scooter is not a motorbike bikers love...)

Now, im on a alcohol diet... sorta, you know, when I had no laptop, at some point I was only going out with some peoples and drink ... altought I havent been that hungover yet !

Last night, someone stole my helmet ! :(  My nice comfy green looking gobelin @ Spiderman is gone !

Didnt really locked it so I kinda derserved it imo

Also, annoying thing with this new laptop, the keypad in the middle have a small metal frame around it. And im getting decents electrics shots each time I touch it... seem also to happen if I touch a USB or screen cable plugged in my computer...

So, why no updates ?

Well, 3 weeks ago my laptop died. Video card because it was still working but I had no screen. Short story is :

Went to the shop, they said <tomorrow>, I came back and they told me <cannot repair, dont have VGA card>... ok and yeah they didnt spoke much english, so I went to others places, who doesnt speak english for most of them and they told me either cannot repair or I would have to wait 3-5 days, I was like wtf, no way, too long... and I didnt understood why.

Found a guy on internet with my phone, he speak english and he explained me why : My laptop is sorta uncommon, so harder to get a spare part, so take more time. He took my laptop, found out the problem was the video card (but he had to check it by himself to make sure that was the right problem), then he had to check for part, call me and then order it.

Asked for rush shipping so faster, then he got it, he changed it ... 10 days ago or so but since then, he keep saying to me, the computer doesnt work proprely and he would need fews days to fix it..

2 days ago received a message telling me he put an other enginner on it , to me look like either big problem or he doesnt know how to solve it..

So its like the never ending story, I didnt expected it to take so long to get it fixed. I was thinking buying a new laptop would have been better and +EV in time-management, but since I always tought the laptop was almost ready, I didnt bought one... until yesterday.

So in short, I got my laptop repaired instead of buying a new one, but taking so long im not putting any poker hands and would have been massively +EV to buy a new one 2-3 weeks ago and make some $ @ poker to pay for it... but since im pissed off big time about it and I want to work... yesterday I bought a new laptop and its already set-up so im gonna play today.

Now im waiting to the punch in the nutz and having a phone call today telling me my laptop is fixed, just for fun.. The bets are open for when Its gonna be fixed, and also I think we can put some side-bet about it being un-fixable...

So I havent been playing since 3 weeks, used my phone for Skype and email... oh and obv the phone went busto 1x and almost a 2nd time..

Well, at least I went out a lot and drank a lot ! Meet some peoples I already knew and others poker players as well, having wonderfull time.

Bad beat too : I spent the x-mas eve @ in bed because of food poisoning , well 1st time in Thailand and in my live, not a bad average...

ell, many things can turn out to be somewhat dodgy in Thailand I guess.

But as a poker player, im not the only one around who hate Thai internet. Overall its not really good from my experience and from others peoples as well. That doesnt mean you cant get a very good one, but I guess its something that you have to dig up.

Apparently I have disconnects problems while an other dude @ same place told me he had great internet, had to check it out if he play at the same time than me and if just got lucky or not.

So I bought a backup plan, wich is internet with USB card, always good in case internet stop for a moment and you want to play poker !

Also, I added a tool to my poker arsenal to be more "zen"

Apparently, you guys now put a bills where any americans citizens can get arrested, put in jail without charges or trial, anywhere in the world.

Land of the frees = no more ?

What you need :

- A place to stay : Depending on how long you are planning to be around , a guest house might do the job, hotel if you are more balla or a nice condo. Being around the city is fine, farther is more quiet but more far from the bars.

- A bike , aka "scooter", you can walk around but most of the time you want to move in scooter and be self-sufficient. I dont see peoples taking taxi or tuktuk for 6 months..  And its fun ! Be sure to get a decent helmet.. its somewhat semi-crazy here, driving with half-rules and on the left side of the road. Note : A bike can be repaired, not your head !

- Skype chat : With peoples in CM, poker players. Get to know more people and when its time to talk poker, thailand or whatever, your not gonna always be on your own.

- A Phone : Esp if its your first time, get a working phone / phone card with some peoples # before being in town, you never know what can happen and I think its a good idea to have some backup plan.

- Talking about backup plans, get some cash changed @ airport for local currency : So if your credit/debit card get frozen for any reasons and you dont have a phone, well you might end up sleeping in the streets for real !
