How to not play a FD

Im quite surprise with people with stats on my hud that look decent.. but when I clicked, I figured out , lots of them are loosing player over good sample (20k, 40k, 44k (datamined)

Here a hand that explain why they might be loosing player^^

CO: $200.00
BTN: $358.30
Hero (SB): $200.00
BB: $900.15
UTG: $361.60

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is SB with 5 of spades 5 of hearts
UTG raises to $6, 2 folds, Hero calls $5, 1 fold

Flop: ($14.00) 4 of diamonds 5 of clubs 9 of diamonds(2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $12.00, Hero raises to $40, UTG raises to $355.60, Hero calls $154 all in

Turn: ($402.00) A of diamonds(2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($402.00) 3 of hearts(2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $402.00
UTG shows Q of diamonds K of diamonds
UTG wins $399.00
(Rake: $3.00)

I dont say his play is bad if he were OOP but I do think his play there is not great. He doesnt have the nutFD, he have position and my ch-raising range there is pretty strong. So basically, he is giving away his position advantage and when he is getting it in there, vs my range, he almost always put the money when behind.

The only best case scenario for him is me having a worse FD

To be fair wouldn't you play a FD like that a lot of the time out of position? It's also a flop some people might check-raise with air as it doesn't appear to hit an UTG opening range very often. I'd probably do the same if I were him.

I think if you ch-raise this flop with air, you have to be pretty sure that UTG is opening a enough wide range preflop and fire a lot postflop to make it worth , to ch-raise with air to make him fold his air.

To me , that would be way too spewey to ch-raise this flopp in BB vs UTG as a total bluff.

If he think im FOS, then he shouldnt 3bet the flop and rather call and let me bluff the rest. The problem is, if he bet-call there, he always have something so I prob dont bluff that often on the turn, altought not everybody is thinking that far.

If he bet-shove there, he let me play perfectly if im FOS, and given my bet size, its a big one, so im not bluffing there. The point is, if im not bluffing, why shove when he have position vs my weak/air range and when he put the $ in, vs my whole range, hes never a favorite and worse FD is just not a big % of my ch-raising range there.
