Getting Started !

Okay !

Now its been almost 3 weeks im in Thailand and 2 weeks since we are in the new house.

For those who wonder wtf im talking about, well a dude called Josh Igoe aka Acomn???? on DC have started a tread long time ago about going in Thailand for long term and grind , enjoy sun and so on, over there, as others poker player already does.

The work and time have done their things and now cople of us meeted up in Thailand for a nice and interessting experience !

So to start, Il introduce the dudes that are part of it :

Josh Igoe : Random british guys from York , 23 years old who like to party a lot and is apparently enjoying a lot the life he have and the time he spend in Thailand.

Also he seem to like eating / tasting a lot of stuff. Hes a living dude with always a smile on his face each time he eat something !

On the professional side, he actually play 6max nl 40 and 50 and work on it and he plan to stay in Thailand for 1 year.

Richard Brown : The other random british guys from…. UK, he just turn 26 years olds lately, wich was a good occasion to invite a lot of 2+2 / poker players for his birthday and to visit our house and this was an awesome party.

Poker wise, he plan to stay 1 year here as well and we always make little fun of kidding him , because he play nl 100-200 but full ring. So we always say something like he fold KK UTG vs a 3bet or stuff like that. Table ninja ftw !

Alexander Bexx , but we call him Lex. He is the elder of the house ! Hes 31 years old but acting like hes 25 but sometime he have to give it a slack to the beer and ciggs !

His bones cant handle everything ! But on a more serious side, Lex is a kind of father to us, he is very mature and show it in most of the things we do here. From poker to the grocery shopping (wich was a sort of free for all the 1st time we went all the 4 btw)

Hes also THE player in da house. He is a mid stakes crusher , taking shot to some high stakes good game as well. We he play he is damn good and so focused, hes a poker-player-model for us on every aspect.

His goal is somewhat different from us, where we are looking to crush nl 200 and 400 at the end of 6 months or so and his goal is something like 200 000k in one years.

And me, Philippe aka Squishee on DC

Im 25, but soon 26, always worried about my futur as a poker player since I doesnt seem to move further for coples of differents reasons (withdraw, bad runs and Eurolinx Scam)

Playing 6max nl 50 and 100 and building back my rolls and paying my debts are my primary short terms goals. I would like to play poker as a main income for the nexts years… I really dont know if I can / could do it for a long time living but I hope enough to move to an house or something similar when I will be back home, while working part time with the army and working out on some others ideas I have in mind as well.

We also meeted others players, like Tom and Arnaud, with who we where looking for houses at the beginning but their needs / priority where not the sames than us. They wanted to be more closer to the city and night life and stuff like this, wich for us wasnt top of priorities. But we still like to not be too far from there as well, but we made a choice and we dont regret it at all.

So Tom and Arnaud live in a condo v close to the city but they visit us time to time and we are going out , joining them here and here, time to time. As we do with others poker players we meets here.

And now we are mostly settle, nice house, better internet connection and 2 screen for us (except me) and we are already on work.

This month prob bet : 100h total of play for each of us, if we doesnt have reached it at the end of the month, the looser have to pay 1 buy in of his stakes to each one of the others !

More updates, news and some pics to come soon !

Any comments / suggestions are welcomed.
