Live play

It's been almost 2 years since I played live - booting the PC is just a heckuva lot more convenient than going to the local poker rooms. I've been out 4 times over the last 2 weeks to play live - microstakes, in USD roughly 50nl and 100nl - I remember people talking about how much worse live players are than equivalent online stakes players, but boy did I forget how much worse they really are. The regs were roughly where I think 5nl online players are at. Yes, there were a couple of players I thought were reasonably good, but geez, lolz everywhere.

One problem with live play that I hadn't thought of - I'm not incredibly swift online or live in building reads. So by the time I've got a good sense of how to exploit the least worst players at the table - poof, time to go home. I've played at two rooms, lost the first time at both rooms and won the second against largely the same group of players because I had reads from the prior trip.

Online, I've decided to stick to FR for probably the rest of this month. Over my last 100k hands, my FR and 6max winrates are roughly the same, but my graph swings alot less in FR than 6max. HU will have to wait until next month, I have a few targets I'm trying to meet atm.
