Poker Apprentice

Gone on a 5 buyin downswing.  Which is pretty frustrating after hitting a 15 buyin heater.  The worst part is I'm at families house for the weekend.  I already burned through my PT3 and HEM free trials so I can't analyze my play.  Since I know I'm tilting, I'm taking a break and downloading a hand history reviewer to identify some of my problems. 

I picked up a student!  I play at low micro stakes, but one my friends decided he wants to learn more about winning at the microstakes.  

The first thing we are going to go over is bankroll management, optimal play style at the micros, and using tracking software!

Hey.  I just wanted to introduce myself.  I'm a big fan of poker and have been playing for a year come next month.  I've been able to move up from 2NL all the way up to 10NL and taking shots at 25NL.  Then after some life issues withdraw it all and realize I have to build it back up from the ground up. 

I've been a member of 2+2 since last October.  While it is useful for posting hands, that advice is not always helpful or somewhat degrading.  Joining Deuces Cracked has been a help so far and will help me on my goal to study 1-2 hours a day. 

I've also always wanted to maintain some form of a log to watch where I've come from.  This will be my spot for that.  So I'll probably be switching between my two games when blogging.  Full Ring and HUSNG. 

The goal is to post weekly to biweekly to give updates or throw out a rant.
