PLO Style

I’ve played almost zero PLO cash in the past couple weeks. After that sick session where I played really well but lost a ton I didn’t really get back on the grind. I’ve been really busy and tired and just don’t want to play my C game. If I’m going to play I want to be ready to crush.

Also my house almost burned down last weekend and I’ve been living out of hotel the past few nights waiting for electricians to rewire the whole property. Living in a hotel room with a 4 year old is tough, getting anything done other than sleeping in that one room while your daughter is in bed is tougher. I haven’t played at all the past few days and haven’t done any school work either. Maybe tonight I’ll get a break and do some of both.

Before the electrical emergency I had been playing some tournaments. I’ll play mostly low-mid buy-in guarantees. I try to play as many PLO tourneys as possible since they are incredibly soft, like so sick rampant with terrible players. I also play the low buy-in rebuys on stars, the $3r and $5r that run in the evenings since that is my time frame when I get off work. I went super deep in the $5r which isn’t nearly as good as the $3r but still decent.

Tournaments can tilt me worse than anything though so I don’t usually play them too often, only when I’m board but don’t want to get into cash grind mode.

Hopefully I can get back into the grind soon and build my roll so I can start making some real money. It’s just on the horizon I know it.
