Taking a Shot
I’m a very casual player. I don’t get a ton of hands in during a month and have been pretty nitty with my bankroll in terms of trying to ascend the ranks in poker. But I’m taking a shot at .50/1 and I haven’t noticed too much of a difference in skill from .25/.50. As long as I eliminate my mistakes I think I’ll do fine here.
Two hands from last night from a late session. I think I played one well, and KNOW I played the other poorly.

After reviewing this hand I should’ve called the river and saved myself some money, as guy to my left was never raising. Also after the x/r I should be happy to get to SD as cheap as possible. A mistake on my part. Live and learn…

Actually I'd have 3-bet the turn in the first hand, unless my opponent had agression stats so low he only ever has a T here, and played the 2nd exactly the same although pumping the flop multiway is also an option.
2nd hand, what are you gonna do? you have nut Trip 8s and all you know is that the SB is a calling station tand the UTG player raised the flop meaning he has 2 card connected with the board in some way.

I must learn to add more stats. Villain's AF in first hand -although only over 29 hands- is 1.1 and he tended to get more aggro on later streets.

Agree with Boomer - I don't think you played either hand badly. Good luck on your shot! Keep us updated if you start playing there permanently.
