Stupid working for a living curbing my gambool!
Going on holiday (“Vacation†for our cousins) next weekend so I have to clear my desk at work, which is a nightmare as my line of work involves clients setting the Easter weekend as an arbitrary deadline for everything and anything.
So my poker activity has been cut off recently. Possibly a good thing. My graph this month has been very erratic and I wasn’t feeling too enthousiastic about it.
I was feeling a little as though my syule of play very much left my fate in the hands of the cards, as opposed to extracting profit through supeior skill as I know I should be.
After a little break and a short session today, refreshed and relaxed, I feel much better about my style of play. I remembered that 10 bb an hour is more a factor of the money you don’t lose than the money you win. Tight is right. You can’t lose what you dont put in the middle. Resistance is futile. Bet ’till they raise…
All the stuff you forget when you’re busy autopiloting your way through your daily target.
