Fun to run good, while it lasts
I had to drag myself outta bed at about 11:30. Getting sick at yoga yesterday just drained me of everything. I slept for like 10 hours. I usually never do that. I started playing poker at 12:30 and went to visit my mom at about 4pm. Grabbed a Subway sammich on the way back and played two more sessions and just got done playing a few minutes ago. It's 11:40pm now. I ran good at poker today. Pretty much all I can say. I played good, so I deserve it, but we all know what will be right around the corner. I'm not getting too pumped about the win today. I guess that might be depression on my part? Knowing that the downswing is very close? Who knows. I like to keep an even keel.
I wanta keep this short because I don't want to spend all night typing
this, but the news of that old nut case Alabama fan poisoning the tree
at Auburn... The tree is like 130 years old and it's tradition for the
students to throw toilet paper over the limbs after a sports team win.
I'm not familiar with Auburn at all, so I think that's right. Well
anyways, the guy put like a bunch herbicide in the ground around the
tree. The trees are now supposed to die. Well there's like a 95%
chance I guess. They've been talking about it on sports radio all day.
I just felt so bad about it. If I went to Auburn I'd be heartbroken.
I'd be pissed if someone came and poisoned my trees in my yard. The
cool thing is that some Alabama students started up a fan page on
Facebook. You can also make donations to try and save the trees. I
guess they have raised like $22,000 in a day and have 40k followers. I
even donated $10 just cause I wanted to do something. Here is the link.
Tomorrow I plan to play poker all day. I hope I can because I'm eight
sessions behind and I want to get 160 hours in this month. I'm fifth on
the Low Limit Leaderboard. I moved up about 10 spots since I started
playing $12s. I just want to beat KJareNuts because he is the only
other person on there playing $12s. The others above me are playing
$24s. I'd be above him if I started playing 12s at the beginning of the
month. I might be close to making a run at first if I can play a full
month and not slack off. Hopefully that will be next month. I without a
doubt play more than anyone on the leaderboard. I just hope it's
enough to over come the rake difference of the 24s. I can't get too
over confident though. I've only been at the 12s for four days. I MUST
keep winning.

The guy that poisoned the trees actually called into a radio show to tell them he did it! Well, that gave him a quick ticket to jail and I hope they throw the book at him.
