Made money, cut the day short.
Woke up at about noon today. Played some poker then went to the gym and
went to my parents house for dinner and to watch the WSOP. The Matt
Affleck hand made me want to puke all over myself. I would have reacted
the exact same way if that happened to me. My heart goes out to him,
but I'm sure he's doing just fine. Still, that is one horrible beat.
I'll never tell a bad beat story again.
I came home and played a session of poker. It's about 1am now and I'm
kind of sick of poker for today. It's hard for me to play late at
night. I need to start getting up early again.
I only played 132 games in 5.8 hours. I made about 14 buy-ins. My EV
line even climbed :) Happy day. I made a bit of an adjustment on my
heads up play. If me or villain had eight or less bbs, I went all in
with atc. About no one called me ide enough. I also did a lot more min
raising. It seemed like it was working really well, till I looked at
my 1st distribution. 10%,... That kinda sucks. My 2nds were crazy high
too. Who knows, not a big enough sample to be jumping to conclusions
just yet. Here's my graph
Tomorrow should be full of poker as usual. This weekend I think I'm
going clam digging. The thing that really sucks is that the Main Event
final table is on Saturday... Every year I sit in front of my computer
and listen to the whole thing. So I'm not really sure what I am going
to do about it. I cannot miss it. I am pumped for it all year long.Â
Last years was insane with Ivey in it. This years will be fun with
Mizrahi there. See y'all
