I love winning on Mondays
Today was a good day. I woke up at 8:30 this morning. Ate breakfast
and played for almost 3 hours. I got to listen to my favorite Seattle
sports radio show that starts at 9am. After the session, I went to the
Shopko pharmacy to pick up one of my prescriptions and on the way back I
stopped at the Wal-Mart Subway. No the girl wasn't there... Got
home and started playing my second session. I was running hot on my
first 16 tables and was in the end game on most of them when all of a
sudden my internet goes out. Great. I didn't panic and looked to see if
my cat unplugged the router. No he didn't. My ISP was just out I
guess. I remembered that I can get a faint signal from someones
unsecured wifi that lives around my house. So I found it and hooked up
to them and everything was back to normal. Whew. That probably saved
me a couple hundo. My internet finally turned back on after awhile.Â
Then I went to the gym and when I got back home I played my final
session.
I played 9.7 hours. Mainly cause I had to play a set of 16 when the
internet went out and played them till they were done. I didn't want to
play a whole continuous session on someone else s router that they
might turn off at any moment lol. I played 215 games and ended up making
about 18 buy-ins :D Yeah it feels good. I'm making money at the right
time. I hope I can keep it up. I know I'm playing a lot better, but I'm
not sure if it's effecting my results too much. We'll see how it goes.Â
I was winning a lot at the beginning of the day, but then I started
getting a lot of 2nds again. A lot of the time I coast into heads up
because the other players are playing too loose and one guy ends up with
9k in chips and I'm sitting there with 4k or even a bigger gap than
that. So I'm not really sure if I'm making more money not making as
many firsts or I'm still doing something wrong that is preventing me
from making enough chips. I've always had a lower 1st place percentage
than most good players. That's why it has me a tad worried. I'll keep
studying and maybe I can figure it out. My red line rose yet again.
Take a look at today's graph

Tomorrow I'll get up at the same time I did this morning and I'm going
to get as much poker in as possible before I go over to my parent's
house to mow their lawn and watch the WSOP. I also have to stop by the
bank to deposit my Full Tilt check. It took almost a month to get to
me. Longest I've ever waited by far. I guess they had some kind of
technical difficulty. I hope it doesn't happen regularly because that
sucked. II need to get to bed if I'm going to get up early. I'll talk
to you guys tomorrow.
RIGGGGGGED!
