Looks like I'm going to Vegas after all. (not for the same reason, of course)
Alright, I have plans brewing for the end of August. (Yes when I was supposed be getting married) My brother, his wife and her friend are still going to Vegas because they bought non refundable plane tickets to my wedding. I wasn't going to go because I didn't think I could go there knowing this is when and where I was supposed to be getting married. I've thought a lot about it and I think I'd rather be with the people that I love the most during that week. I think it would be worse if I was home alone depressed about everything and knowing they were in Vegas having a good time. Also knowing that I should be down there. So we are flying down to Vegas for a couple of days and then we are going to drive over to LA and go to Disneyland for a few days. (where I was supposed to have my honeymoon, coincidentally) I know it's going to be freaking hard as hell for me emotionally the whole time, but at least I'll be with my best friends.
Yesterday I only got two sets of games in. I didn't feel that I needed to blog about it, so that's why I didn't. I went to Home Depot to get some stuff for my garden. Then I went out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse with my parents. After that I went over to their house for our weekly True Blood viewing. Also there was a 10,000 acre fire about five minutes from my house last night. It was insane and I could barely breathe. It was cool looking at night though.
Today I woke up and went back to my parent's house to mow their lawn. Then I went out to lunch with them. I got home at about 1:30 and I played poker for the next 8ish hours.Â
I played 108 games today and 25 yesterday. I made about 13 buy-ins over the two days. Today I came out to be out even and made all my profit over the 25 games I played on Sunday. Well, it really doesn't work that way, but oh well lol.
