Yawn...just the best day of the month :)
Forced myself to wake up at 9:30 this morning. I stayed up till about 3am last night watching the end of Dexter Season 3. I couldn't stop watching, it was just too intense. I played a few sets of games at 11:30. Then I went and played nine holes at the local par three course. I played pretty shitty. Need to get everything sorted out before Saturday's tourney. I played a few more sets when I got home. Then my sister-in-law texted me and wanted to go eat at Applebee's. Couldn't say no too that. I ate and drank so much that I almost puked when I walked out of the restaurant. I got back home at about 9pm. I had the itch to play some poker cause I was doing so well earlier in the day. So I decided to play a set. I was pretty tired during the whole thing, so I limited myself to just one.
I played 86 games today and made about 20 buy-ins. :) Super happy about that. I could tell I was having a good day. The thing about today that was different was that I was extra careful not to blind out. The last few days I think I have been kinda slipping in that aspect. So I have to be super careful about that. My game improves dramatically when I don't let myself drop too low and taking any opportunity to push.Â
Today was a big win for me. I've been waiting for this all month. I'd prefer to have one more big day like this and totally knock out my huge downswing earlier this month, but that's ok. Pretty hard to predict variance lol.
I'm staying the night at my parents with my brother tomorrow night so we can leave straight from there to the golf tourney on Saturday morning. I might not get a chance to blog tomorrow, we'll see. Laterz!
