On the climb :)

Yesterday, my parents and I went to Mt. Rainier.  We went on a few hikes.  The snow level was still pretty low so we didn't get to go on as many as we wanted.  Weather was perfect.  Sunny, clear day.  I've been there dozens of times, but I'm always amazed at how many trails there are.  I want to walk all of them or at least a lot.  I need to get my brother and his wife to go up there with me and we can hike every weekend.  That would be sick.  There is a trail that is 97 miles long that goes around the mountain.  I seriously want to take that trail in my life.  I guess it's like a 10 day hike.  I also have gotten this crazy idea of climbing Mt Rainier in my lifetime.  I kinda want to work towards that.  That could be like an ultimate goal.

Today nothing really exciting happened.  Went to the bank this morning then started playing poker.  I played three sets (36 games) then went to the gym.  Haven't been there in about a week.  I'm going to try and go everyday again.  I think my belly is getting a little bigger.  Plus I want to be in good shape for the golf tournament my family and I are in this weekend.  It's my parents' company tournament.  We usually come in about last place every year, but my brother and I have been working on our games ALOT..  We hope to carry our team to near the top.  It would be a huge accomplishment and we've been waiting for this all season.

I got home from the gym at about 4:00 and played poker till now (9:00).  I've been loading up tables without really paying attention who is registering now.  I haven't been table selecting the last couple days and it seems to be working in my favor.  It very well could just be variance and it probably is.  Well see how it pans out.

Today I played 109 tournaments and made 13 buy-ins.  I'm climbing my way out of the hole.  The last couple weeks have sucked majorly and it looks like I get to spend the rest of the month clawing my way back and hopefully I can show a decent profit.  The mid year bonus is going to help a lot this month.  I just cleared my $250, so that's going to be nice.  Hopefully I can make Iron Man from here on out and get $600 in January.  It seems easy when I'm single and have nothing to do, but who knows what lies down the road.

Well tomorrow shouldn't be exciting.  Probably going to just play another 100 games.  I think my bro and I are going to go play the golf course we are playing the tournament at on Wednesday, just to get the feel for it and to jot down some distances. See ya.
