Pretty much a day off. Just a little bit of poker.
Went to bed at about 1:30am last night. I was watching Season 2 of Dexter and couldn't stop watching till I finally fell asleep. That show is intense.
Woke up this morning, ate breakfast. Then I went golfing, played decent. I golfed with another guy and he wasn't very good so that boosted my confidence a bit. After that, I went out to lunch with my brother and mom. Went over to my brother's house for a little while then came home. I dinked around a bit, studied some hand histories, and I played a set of 12 games. It went well. I really don't want to look at my results because it's only a few games, but I know I won. So that's a relief.
As I was getting done with my only poker session of the day, my bro called me and asked if I wanted to go eat pizza at his house. I thought about it for about a second and realized that I need to jump at the chance of any kind of social interaction. I've been cooped up in this house for too long. Nothing wrong with a day off. I needed one.
So tomorrow I think I am going to put together my new lawn mower and mow my lawn. I'll admit, I'm kinda excited about it.
Tip of the day:Â Be nice to your friends, because you never know when you will need them in the time of need. (ex. your fiance dumps you)
