USA! USA! USA!
First off, what a great day for USA soccer. In the words of Miley Cyrus, "It's a party in the USA." Just in case you live in a cave, the US beat Algeria today 1 - 0 in the World Cup in the first minute of stoppage time to win their group and to advance to the next round. If they would have lost they would have been out. I went completely bonkers in my house at about 9am PT. I was listening to the game on ESPN radio, while I was doing dishes, thinking that the US was out of the World Cup. Then BOOM! One of the best moments in USA sports history. I'll remember it the rest of my life. The USA hasn't advanced out of the group round since 1930! That is a crazy stat. Landon Donovan's goal was the greatest moment in USA soccer history. They aren't done yet, so hopefully there is more to come.
After that was all done with, I went to my therapy session. Kinda went well. Basically came to the conclusion that I need to make more money and stop being dependent on people.
Then I went to my parents house to mow their lawn. It was 93 degrees outside. I sweated like a pig. It was so hot, but I like the work out. It's good for me and it's nice to be outside.
I drove back to my house and played a set of tourneys. Decided to move up in limits to the $12 STT's. My brother called me and wanted to go golf nine holes at about 6pm, so I couldn't pass that up.
I got home and played two more sets of games. It was about 10:15pm when I decided not to play anymore. The games were loading kinda slowly and there were a lot of regs. I'd only play one more set anyways.
The Mariners won their SIXTH straight tonight! They beat the Cubs 8-1 and Cliff Lee pitched his second complete game in a row. It's going to be sad to see him go. I wish the M's would just pay him whatever he wants, but he'll be traded for sure. He's that good.
I only played 36 games today, so results don't matter too much. I'll take a look just cause it was my first day back at the $12's. Made six buy-ins tonight. Not bad I guess. I got sucked out on hard a couple times by a somewhat decent pro. Very frustrating. It's kinda weird seeing that I made $72 and it only being six buy-ins. Hopefully it's a sign of whats to come.
Tomorrow is my brother's birthday and I don't think I'll get much poker in... That is starting to be a habit. I should have played a lot more than I did today. I spent way too much time at my parents house this afternoon. I gotta get my head in the game and start grinding.

HAHAHA, good one. They got to the quarter finals in 2002...

Shit, they've been saying that all day on the radio. I thought it was kinda weird too. I'm wrong. Maybe I'll back up my facts next time
