Wow... How did I not know about the 3rd Duckament??
That is super sad. I haven't been to the General Discussion forum in about a month. That'll teach me... I'm pissed. I can't believe I missed that tourney. GRRRRR!
Ok lets get to my productive, yet very boring day. I started playing poker at about 10am. From the get go, there were quite a few 12-16 tablers playing today. I had to wait a lot between sets so I wouldn't load up on three regs. Another thing about my morning session. Vandweller's girlfriend kicks my ASS. She is by far the best player at the $6.50s, in my opinion. I mean I know I can be exploitable, but she has a hand every time I'm all in. Just one example. We got heads up, I typed "I have zero percent chance" in the chat box. First hand she pushes, I have K10 in the BB. I call, obviously. She has AJ, obviously. I go out, one hand. I don't think I have ever beat her in a hand, let alone a tournament.Â
The rest of the day was full of the normal. Bad beats, me making good calls, regs sucking out on me 100% of the time. I got done with all my poker at about 7:30 tonight. So I BBQ'ed some chicken thighs and listened to the Mariner game. The M's seem to be on their way to a five game win streak. They have been playing awesome lately. The pitching has been crazy. They just swept The Reds and only allowed one run in that series.
Ok, to the day's results. I played 108 games. Made 15 buy-ins. Better than I thought I did. So I'm happy with that.
Another thing I need to talk about. I desperately need to move up in limits. Staying at the $6.50s isn't going to fly. I added up my bills in a month and they are more than what I can make at this limit. So I must move up. Even at the $12s it is going to be tight. Especially if I can't grind out a decent ROI. I feel that I am tons better than I was a few months ago. I played a full month of them and I came out with almost a 1% ROI. I know for a fact I am better than that. If I can grind out a 5% ROI that would be just great. I can barely score that ROI down here at the $6.5s. So we will see. I am just a few buy-ins short of 100 for the 12s, so I guess I'll make a decision of weather I'll just move up or make the 100 buy-ins first.
Well, I think I am going to get caught up on some of my TV shows. Wish I could say I had someone to watch them with.
