Regs, regs and more regs.
I played three sets today, 36 games. That’ll be as much as I get in today. Courtney is home tonight and we’ll be getting caught up on our TV shows.
It was a pretty shitty three sets. I haven’t looked at my cashier. I don’t wanta know. I didn’t do horrible, but I got fucked so hard heads up on the last two sessions.
Speaking of the quality of games today. There were SO MUCH new regs today! I define a ‘reg’ as someone plays more than six tables at once. It doesn’t mean they are good, but they are decent enough to know whats going on. Everyday I play, I write down the regs’ names so I can search them in Sharkscope later. (sharkscope just about crashes my computer every time I open it, so I don’t like doing it while I have 12 tables open.) Every day I find AT LEAST five new regs that I have NEVER seen before. I have a txt file that I jot down all the names down on. I find their stats and write them down next to their name. I keep the names on there till I see them again and then I cut their stats from the txt file and paste it to my notes on them. (yeah yeah, it would be easier to use the pokertracker notes function, but oh well.) Anyways, I have over 100 names on this list. These are just the players that I haven’t seen again! Basically it’s just crazy how many new regs that I find every day.
Today I found about EIGHT new regs and they were just loading up my tables with no problem at all. Doesn’t matter if there are five others at the same table. They don’t even give a fuck. They have such HUGE egos that they actually think they can beat the competition. Well let me tell you, there are a very few reg’s that have an roi even close to the top percentage. They are there to play other regs, not to win money. They are just there to try and boost their ego, if they know it or not.
Well enough of my bitching about other regs at my tables, because I can talk about that forever and I have talked about it before on my blog.
I want to talk about me falling asleep while I’m playing, but I think I’m going to leave that for tomorrow. I need to keep these a bit shorter and to the point and not clutter them with too many topics.
Tomorrow will be another 108 game day and I’ll blog after all that’s done. Hopefully it’s not so ‘reggy.’ Usually there are good and bad days in that aspect, so tomorrow shouldn’t be too bad. Laterz!

Random question... how long does it take you to get through 108 games? What games are you playing?
Thanks! :)

If I'm a new reg on a level, I'll play anyone until I learn who are any good. Might look like inflating ego to an existing reg. It takes a while at a new level before you can start avoiding certain players. At lower levels you don't need to game select a lot, because there's plenty of fish / reg and even most of the regs are bad. I know that every reg does get your winrate down, but you should be +EV even with a few regs on the tables.
I'm doing the same thing with paper. One reason for it would be that Full Tilt's user agreement does not allow sharkscope / top shark during gameplay.

I play $6.50 Turbo STT's on Full Tilt. Oh and I hardly game select, I just don't load up a session with someone with 16 tables already lit up
