It's way past my bed time
Just got back from a midnight showing of Iron Man 2. I won’t spoil anything for anyone so I’ll leave it at that.
Not much else exciting happened today besides my friend trying to convert me to a Mormon. Really that wasn’t exciting. My friend from high school has been bugging me for about 10 years to talk to a couple Mormon missionaries to find out more about the religion. Well, I’m Catholic and there is no way I’m converting. Just cause he is my friend I decided to finally give in and have the missionaries talk to me. So I did that tonight. It was really boring and awkward and I will never do anything like that again. Not to mention that religion is totally bogus.
I played seven sets of games today. 84 games. I’ve been keeping up with my aggressive play and so far it has really been paying off. I made another 12 buy-ins today. I got in a lot of weird spots heads up. A lot of really thin spots. Especially in spots where the small blind min raises. At first I’d reraise all in with my kings and better queens and I’d get a fold or they’d call with 10 7o. Now I’ve been finding the times where they have an ace. It’s super frustrating. It’s also crazy how light people will call me. I mean if I push once, the next time I push they’ll spite call me with J8s. It’ll all blow over. Just me whining.
I also got bitched out by a know-it-all reg for calling him from the BB with K5o. He happened to have 1010 and he said I was an idiot. With in 20 seconds, at another table, I stacked him with K2 when he pushed 64o. Maybe he’ll think twice before loading up my tables again.
Well it’s only been a few days but the month has been going nicely so far and I hope that this keeps up.
