Golf, poker, Mariners...
The morning started out with nine holes of golf with my brother at our local par 3 course. I made some good shots and some shitty ones, but it was a good time. Beautiful day out. Went to Arby’s afterward and ate two Beef n’ Cheddars and listened to my bro talk about how he hates people that don’t tip him at Applebee’s.
Got home and played 12 games. Went and picked up Courtney. Played another 12. Brought Courtney to work. Came home and played another 61 games. The Mariner’s game started at 5:00 today because they are in Chicago playing the White Sox. Chicago pulled ahead 2-0 right at the beginning. M’s came back to tie. Sox scored another three runs. Down by three at the top of the 7th, Jose Lopez of the M’s belts a four run grand slam to pull ahead by one. Couldn’t believe it, I kinda went crazy and lost track of poker, but nothing bad happened. Soxs came back to tie and in the bottom of the 9th with two outs Andrew Jones hits a walk off home run. BLAAAAAAAAAH!
I’m happy to say that poker went a lot better than the Mariner game. I made 18 buy-ins if you can believe it. I don’t think I do at the moment. I’m kinda in the clouds right now. Everything seems to be going fine now. It looks like I’m on track to make rent this month. So I’m not gunna worry about that anymore. I’m just going to focus on playing the very most poker I can and make sure to keep looking over my sessions. That is definitely the reason I am playing so well right now.
Wish I could talk more, but I gotta get outta here and pick up the fiance from work.
