Poker all day long
This morning I woke up and looked over my hands from yesterday for about an hour and half. Went to the gym at 10:30. When I got back I studied more and then played three sets. I picked Courtney up and brought her to work. I got back and looked over the hands that I had marked from earlier. Then I played poker basically for the rest of the night. I stopped to eat because I was getting bored out of my mind.
I played 96 games today. I would have played another set, but I had to wait for a few regs to clear out at one point. Probably toward the end of the 6th set, my computer basically froze up. It freaked out, it either over heated or I was maxing out on memory and didn’t notice. Of course it was in the middle of a session that was going completely bad. I was dying of from being bored and I wasn’t playing optimally. I didn’t freak out, I just rebooted my computer as fast as possible. I got back in such a time that i didn’t get totally fucked. I took some unbelievable beats today. I jotted down some crazy hands, but when my computer crashed, I lost em. For some reason I was getting beat by tight players shoving 13-15bbs in early position with like 35o, 10 9s and really shitty hands of that nature. Of course I had AA-QQ. Really frustrating. I also was having some pretty bad luck heads up again tonight. Grrrr. I know I’m playing almost perfect heads up, it’s crazy how bad I’m running in that area!
I was super scared to look at my results at the end of my day packed full of poker. At least I didn’t lose. I didn’t make that much though. I didn’t even make five buy-ins. BLAH! Just so sick. I might be losing EV in the early game. Its really something I can’t check in Wiz and sometimes I do some questionable plays or make calls that turn out to be horrid. I just have to stay more disciplined in the early game.
Well tomorrow hopefully I’ll go golfing with my brother in the morning. I want to actually do something other than look at this computer for 16 hours a day. I’m going to try to play as much poker as I did today. I’m cramming as hard as I can.
