Average day...
Took my new (used) minivan to the shop today. It has a bad oil leak and the AC doesn’t work. We knew this before we bought it. I guess a gasket is leaking oil and it needs a new serpentine belt. Nothing I can fix of course so it’s going to cost me a nice $325. Just put it on my tab. I have a feeling it wont fix the AC completely, but we’ll see.
I played a couple sets of poker at 1pm. Had a good first 12 and a horrid second 12. Courtney and I had some things to do in town after I picked her up from school. I got back to poker at about 6:30. I played three sets (36 games) The first set I think I got like six or seven 3rd places. It was very very depressing. I’ll have to look at some spots. The next two sets I ran HORRIBLE in some very key spots and that is basically what made me not make too much money. I made some great calls that I’m sure left some players scratching their heads. Although I wish my hand would hold up just most of the time.
I made like four buy-ins today. Should have made so much more in my opinion. I really don’t feel good about it. Hopefully I’ll have some time tomorrow to actually go over my hands and tighten the screws in my game.
Listened to the Mariners the whole time I played tonight. They smoked the Orioles 8-2. Yeah Baltimore is awful, but the win is nice. Doug Fister had a no hitter into the 7th inning, it was exciting. The AL West is already looking to be a VERY close race.
Well I’m going to get a snack and watch The Apprentice. Laterz
