Golf & poker. Ran the same at both.
Day started off well. Got off to the gym at 10:30. Was ready to play poker at noon, then my brother called me up and wanted to go golfing. It was perfect outside, so had to golf. The course is just our local par 3, 9 hole course. It’s cheap. I played terrible, I’ve played terrible for years. Wish I could get better. After the round we went to Arby’s. I had two Beef n Chedders. Mmmmm I love Arby’s. I don’t get to ever eat there cause Courtney hates it.
When I was driving back from taking Courtney to work, I all of a sudden got super tired. I barely made it home. I plopped on the couch and fell asleep for an hour. At about 5ish, I finally started the poker. I played six sets just about straight through. Ran completely terrible as usual. Lost about five buy-ins. Not too bad. Of course on my last set I loaded up my tables and two regs decided to load up on top of me. One of which is the guy that I hate playing with the most at the 12s. I guess he has moved down. That really sucks. I think he tries to be at every single one of my tables. I’ve played with him the most than any other player on the site. He runs like god against me. It is really tilting.
I’ve listened to the Mariners games the last two nights while I’ve been playing poker. I love the Mariners and I enjoy listening to them on the radio. Last year I tried listening to them while I played, but it would distract me too much. I’m way better than last year at this time and now everything is pretty much automatic for me. The games make the poker go by so quickly. I would argue with anyone that the Mariners have the best radio announcers in baseball. Dave Niehaus is basically just genius. Also, I love how he goes completely bonkers over the smallest things haha.
Well I’m starving. I’m going to make myself a sammich. I have Glee downloading right now. I’m praying that it is done downloading by the time I get back from picking up Courtney. We’re completely obsessed with this show. Laterz
