Not much of a poker day
The day started out with a snow storm and we got about a half inch of snow. Yeah it’s April, super weird. Got back from the gym at about noon. Studied poker for about an hour. Looked over some hands in question from last night. I wasn’t playing as bad as I thought. I kinda got lazy with my SB pushes. I was being a tad too tight.
I played a couple sets starting at 1pm. I probably broke around even. I played with a bunch of regs on the second set. I didn’t mind. It’s kinda nice to play with extremely exploitable players sometimes. It’s not nice when you’re not getting any hands, but it’s very good when you get decent hands and they hold up.
I had planned on playing a few more sets, but I got a call from the parents and they wanted me and Courtney to go color Easter eggs. Courtney has to work all day tomorrow so tonight would be a good night. We got to my parents’ house and ate dinner. We were looking on Craigslist at the cars and we found one for $1500 that had a new engine and blah blah blah. it was down in Tri-Cities which is like a hour and half drive one way. So we decided to go give it a look instead of color eggs lol. So we scrambled for some cash. It involved cashing two checks at two local casinos. The lady that was selling the car was super nice and friendly so we were pretty sure that we were going to buy the car. To cut my story short, we get there and the car doesn’t start. Well, ok. Easy decision.
Now it’s too late to play poker because I’ll probably be in bed in an hour. Hopefully tomorrow will be way more productive. I’m sick of seeing all these players playing 2000 – 4000 SNGs a month. I don’t think I could do that if I did nothing but poker.
