Not much poker today...
I got a late start on the day. Got going at about noon. I couldn’t pull myself away from he computer. Facebook, twitter, 2p2, they can just waste your day away. I shouldn’t have even got on the computer. So at noon I went go get my clam digging license with my dad at Bi-Mart. Then we went to Taco Bell for lunch. I got a chicken burrito and two crunchy tacos. I go there about once a year it seems like. After that I went to Shopko to get one of my blood pressure prescriptions filled. I came back home and planned on playing a session of poker when I decided that it would probably better if I went and worked out. Picked Courtney up at 3:00 and she was hungry so I made turkey burgers for us. Turkey seems to take longer to cook then beef, odd.
I finally got to play some poker when 4:30 rolled around. I played three sessions. Ran fairly bad as usual, but I think I made about a half of a buy-in. Not bad, I’ll take it. The first session I was tired as all hell and was falling asleep. I hate when that happens. I don’t drink energy drinks because they are too expensive. I probably wouldn’t drink them regularly anyways because they are just loaded with caffeine which speeds up your heart. I take pills that slow my heart down. So yeah I get no where with caffeine lol.
Oh and something else I wanted to talk about. I recognized a player at my table the other day. He is a regular poster on 2p2 in the STT forums. I won’t mention names. Although he isn’t one of the super well known ones, I recognized his name. I’m kinda banking that he doesn’t belong to DC and won’t read this blog. The other day he was bitching and whining on the STTF Thread about how he is in this massive downswing and he has tuition to pay off and blah blah blah. And how he is a regular winner at the $33’s and it’s impossible that a great player like himself could be running this bad. He dropped down to the $11’s to rebuild his bankroll and has been pointing out that the players and regulars play so bad. I’ll take that a tad personally, since I’ve been at a lot of his tables lately. Over the past like 200 games he is at a -20 roi. That’s understandable if you are running bad, but that is probably about 30 of this guys problem. The other 70 is his play. I would be willing to bet that he hasn’t looked at SNG Wiz in months. I saw so many huuuuuuge leaks in his game that I almost felt sorry for this poor sap. (I also should mention that this guy is a total douche to people in chat so I do not like this guy at all and I probably will have nothing nice to say about him.) He also posts hands on 2p2 a lot of the time. Thank you. I know exactly what this idiot is raising with every single hand. He is so exploitable that he might as well just hand me his bankroll. My ego wants to tell him he plays so bad and he has so many glaring leaks. My heart wants me to help the guy out. Except he is a jerk at the table and a jerk on the forums and he thinks he is king. I don’t want to help this guy out one bit because people like him make it so much easier for us regs at the $11’s that try and grind out literally cents a game. He is on mega tilt and I don’t think he is going to right the ship soon. He’ll stop playing when he has no more money left.
Anyways, The Office is on the TV schedule for tonight. Oh and I’ll be gone for the weekend clam digging so probably no blogs till Sunday. I don’t think my phone will stay on long enough to get online and write a blog. It likes to reset itself. I’m getting a new one on Monday I think. Peace out.
