Not exactly fulfilling my goals...
At the beginning of this week I made a goal. To play at least 300 games a week. This week, it is not going to happen. There are several reasons for this. The first reason is because poker is not high enough on my priority list. My fiance has not worked very much this week so she has been home all but one of the nights. So we went to trivia night at our local pub last night. I only played two sessions yesterday and four today. Yesterday I had a good two sessions and today wasn’t so good. I didn’t look at my cashier cause I know for a fact I lost money.
The first session I was playing with a bunch of regs. I didn’t intend to, they just decided that they wanted to load up the same tables as me. Over half my tables had about six or seven regs and the others had at least three. They have tons and tons of leaks but still they know basic ICM play so I don’t have as much of an edge. When you run bad at tables full of regs, you run reeeeeeally bad lol. I make calls after calls against them with the best hand and they suck out on me most of the time. So it’s disheartening. I didn’t let it get to me as much today though.
I feel like I’m playing the best poker of my life right now. That’s not saying too much, but it’s making me feel a lot more confident in my play. I haven’t been taking the bad beats as bad as I used to.
Oh and I almost forgot. The reason I probably won’t be playing for the rest of the weekend is because the damn SNG Madness is going on at Full Tilt for the next few days. All of the tables will be six to seven regs non stop. Especially at the $11+1’s because it is the top limit of it’s leader board. But we’ll see. I’ll prolly scope out the action. The prizes sound pretty appealing.
Well, I have a full TV schedule tonight. American Idol, Survivor, The Office and CSI. I gotta get back to those.
