I feel like quitting poker (yeah right)

I play two sessions at 1pm and 2pm today, I make about 12 buy-ins. Looking good right? I come back and start playing at 5pm and play four sessions with the crazy maniacs and the bad regulars and run awful. I’ve ran worse but that’s when I sucked. I lost the 12 buy-ins and about 9 more. I thought I actually had a handle on these things for once in my life and this happens. It makes me want to never play this roller coaster of a game again. I hate losing at this level ($12s) cause when I lose it is so much money. It makes me sick. I can’t take another day like today or I MUST move down in limits. If I was actually confident with my play I wouldn’t be so down in the dumps about losing. But I really haven’t been confident in my play ever.

After a very questionable hand that I played verses one of the regs. I got into a conversation with him and I’ll be honest, I told him that I thought his play was terrible. It was my last two games of the night and I had been running very rough and I was steaming big time. I have no more searches left on Sharkscope and I told him that if he has winning stats that I’m quitting poker. He then told me that I don’t even have good stats so why am I critiquing his play. I took a step back and realized he is right. Why do I have reason to think I am any good. I don’t even know if [i}I[/i] am playing correctly. I’ve been literally playing online poker for probably four years and I am still playing the lowest stakes. Only over the past year have I actually been working on improving my game and trying to learn more, but still. Most everyone that has been playing online poker as serious as I have been for this long are playing high stakes and are making a good living off of poker. I can’t even make money!! I feel that the only money I have ever cashed out is from when I have gone on hot streaks.

I guess I’ll just go back to studing hard on Wiz, even tho I think it makes me play not as aggressive.

Here’s the hand that set me off. I don’t expect this from a reg, but like I said, most of them have such huge leaks, it’s amazing that they make money at all.

Well I looked up his stats and he has a 7.5% roi over 2000 games at the 12s. I can't get close to this roi and I don't make plays that are this bad. People just run well forever...it's sickening
