New venture in chiang mai! help needed.

So some people might know some people might not but i have my own business called 'Chiang Mai Alpha Car Rental' .

I spent the past few months learning how to make a website. I tried some dummy sites to get a feel for how things worked.

Then i realised i had to actually make a site. took me about a week or so but i managed to get one online, live and working. I'm not finished with all the design, look feel aspects at all. nor the content. but it is functioning for what i need at the moment.

www.chiangmaicarhire.com

If any of the guys that know about this type of stuff would like to give me any suggestions at all please fire away

At the moment i'm just trying to optimise for google. I knew barley nothing about how to SEO so any insight is welcome.

I realise the importants of back links and solid content is a must to rank in the search engines. atm i have been building up some backlinks Via directories + blogs that are relevant to my site. I probably have about 20 links at the moment but heard its a good idea to go for about 200 in the first month.

Also if anyone knows how google works? I hear that after a month they will do a deep crawl of your site that will actually give them an idea of your content /  sites actual relevancy  for search. I mean at the moment i get no results in google for my keywords but i was between 4th and 5th in yahoo.

I'm just adding content everyday from now on hoping this will help to look like we are updating a lot and have more and more content for people that they want to read or see.

I also plan to make a blog that is hosted by the same url as the site, all relevant things for that topic but not necessarily business related. hoping i can provide some useful stuff for people to organically find and use.

withdraw roll off stars

so now i dont know what i will do.

No more fullring for now.

Might put money back online on tilt or stars probably tilt but after the smoke has cleared.

Trying to put in a lot of 6max volume. hope to play about 20K hands before end of month and have some run good please.

feel sorry for you americans. Just move out of your country if you use poker as a means of income. you can always go back later and enjoy the land of the free.

first BE/swingy stretch.

Been not so good start to the 50nl.

first few K at 25nl then moved up and had an ok run.

luckly i hit a few RB/bonuses to keep me rolled for  50 so thats nice. Just annoying i cant stick a win for some reason.

for sure my WR will be lower then 25 and so i will have more variance i cant  just be stacking people all the time or playing much much better then them. What i mean is I would have to guess my WR would be maybe 50% worse then 25nl? maybe not that bad. People can actually hand read a bit, some pretty decent regs but still many bad regs. Not so many fish but still seems like there are enough to make a fair amount.

I also mostly just play stars when i  am hung over, tired or there are no games on the other site. Played many long sessions as well. I'll just say im not playing my a game so much and that is cool with me. I want to just play my a game when i play my normal stakes.

I'll look for some fun hands.

25nl.

moved in with a dodgy start at 25nl. had some swongs and a long breakeven stretch.

a little bit of run bad in many spots but also having to adjust to different types of ranges in different spots. Just a bit strange and many things that i am not used to but now feel pretty good about the level.

had a lot of allin pre flops where villains seemed to have 'the top of their ranges' when in fact i might just be KK+ only.

Also many nit tags will not value bet thin and will not call down light or even with what i would consider the top of peoples ranges in 6max games. that is pretty lol.

Have seen a few pretty decent tags at the limit. this is pretty much the first time i can say this since i started playing at 2nl -25nl.

eg. i have seen some tags make good bluff catching calls i thought they were not capable of. Some 4bet/3bet bluffs. those guys are still the exception though.

10days.... chugga chugga

making good progress, really want to move up as fast as i can to 50nl.

If I keep at current pace i should make it before 30days is up.

here is overall graph

and stats

another 10-15buyins at 10nl and i will move up to 25nl.

Honsestly 10nl is pretty similar to 5nl but there are more nitty guys, very nitty guys. KK pre flop is not the nuts, you actually feel bad sometimes getting it in.

this just means that there are a lot of regs with a lot of major leaks to exploit.

damn lost 5 buyins

have to move back down to 5nl.

I guess i could post these hands but i just want to move on and take another shot at 10nl soon as i can.

People at 10nl are even more nitty then 5nl. Have to be careful not to value cut yourself with TPGK ect. This just goes against the nitty regs obv the fish you can Vbet to death pretty thin.

also had 1 or 2 guys that seemed to play back at me a little bit in late pos. I mean got 3bet a little bit more but nothing that would be a concern for them exploiting me enough.

hope to update soon with a successful 10nl shot. one time.

5 days into microstakes.

Seem to be doing all right.

I'm hoping to 'move up' to 10nl today just a few more buyins at 5nl.

You can bluff people at micro stakes. There are good spots for it you should just be aware of what range you want them to fold and what range would realistically call you.

This one was just a tester to see if i what people will lay down at the limit.

im not sure if i like it as it as i think most regs would call down overpairs pretty often. I was planning on raising turn and bluff shove river.

This hand is similar to first hand.  I think his small dk bet on the turn is a bit of a blocking bet, like he doesnt want me to barrel the A. I think his range is draws,  9x Tx  maybe even some JJ-KK stuff. Sometimes he might have a strangly playing A2/A9 but i think that is more likely to bet bigger on turn and or CR turn.

micro stakes madness

Madness because it is totally illogical to do things this way but........

I had $60 i found on pokerstars + I just found my rsa token so i can log in after 6 months.

I decided i love 20 tabling fullring. There is something addictive and something I find more fun about it sometimes.

So I thought up this crazy plan of moving from the bottom of the pile 2nl - 50nl as fast as i can.

So this month i have already played 21K hands of 200nl 6max and now 10K hands of 2nl/5nl full ring.

I only play micro stakes when there are no 1/2 games or i am not going to play for other reasons (tiredness/tilt/downswings)

I'm really enjoying playing the micros again. after having a crushing day at 1/2 or downswinging I find i build up so much confidence playing a session where i don't care about money just the game. Its like a new motivation i have.

Anyways here are my results so far:

I am going to try to move up to 50nl as fast as i can (less then 30days ideally) using an aggro BRM system. basically taking shots once i have more then 15 buyins and moving down when i need to.

I've had to have a steep learning curve with somethings backfiring but feel pretty good now about my strat.

1 very funny thing I have noticed. people dont 3bet AK often at all! and once they have called pre flop they do not under almost 0 circumstances fold it (even tight guys).

Another, there are a lot of super nitty guys playing 5nl mixed in with huge whales. The games are great fun.

This is a lot of fun i want to keep grinding and moving up.

Played bad mostly

Past few sessions have had some tilt and just bad play as well as getting sucked out on run bad. So I've made run bad worse by tilting and playing badly. I think i have stopped this the last few sessions started to feel better and play better. Just hope to turn the results around now.

I felt i was owning 1 reg i have pretty good reads on.

He is basically extremely loose, opening 50% CO 90% btns and 60% sb.  Post flop he cbets 80%. DB aobout 50-60 i think.

I have basically 3bet his every btn open and sb open at 1 table for 4 hands in a row. He folded each time.

This one is a bit strange. SO we know his range is almost ATC on the BTN + a cbet is almost the same.

When he checks the turn he doesn't have many Kx (he will Vbet these) He can have a Q/7/4 or sometimes random PP.

Now he bets semi large on a slightly scary river (for my range) he can have AQ rarely (bets turn a lot) A7/A4. AJ/AT will often check flop but it is possible he bets these as he cbets a lot.

that is something like 6 % of his range on the river can Vbet compared to about 90% of his range that CAN bluff (I'm not saying he will always do that). even if he only bluffs about 10% of the time i think i can still call.

This is a bit of a strange one but I decide my hand is sometimes good at SD but not all that much. I can rep many strong hands that i play this way. So basically i am folding out 90% of his checking range by the river i think.

I think he folds sets here often. I mean a set  5s is about the same as TT here.

Good spot for him to 4bet bluff given stack depths. Good spot for me to be 1 step ahead and value merge imo. (remember how wide is opens are to start).
