Yes it’s the only time of the year when I play holdem :)
It happens for 1 day only and involves the Pokerstars blogger tournament!

I finished 3rd the very first year it happened (and I was screwed from winning when allin as slight chip leader with A8 losing to QT)

It’s always good fun and Stars are giving a couple of prizes out for people who twitter or blog during the tournament. Lucky I keep my twitter up to date as well!

I ended up winning a 24 inch Dell widescreen monitor for 3rd place (as opposed to the pokerstars cruise) which at the time was about £1000 to buy. A couple years later the price dropped to £300 for the same monitor. Crazy how cheap it’s all gotten recently.
