… and all that crap. It’s 2 hours to go before 2010, just got off the phone with an Australian friend whom celebrated the new year 8 hours ago and let me just say for the record, making this absolutely crystal clear, the Australians have little concept of self control when it comes to the consumption of alcohol. Put bluntly, the guy is rat-arsed and just staggered in the house to hit the sack at 7am.
I shall be tucked up in bed with a hot cocoa at 30 minutes past midnight. I would go earlier but the fireworks from the cool people who live all around me will keep me awake for a while.
Hope everyone has a good 2010 unless you intend to sit down in the same poker games as me in which case I hope you get screwed and lose all your money, preferably to me. If you can’t lose it to me, at least don’t give it to the table nit because i’ll never get it off him.
