September Blues, October Hope?
  Overall, I have to say I'm pleased with how I played over the month, despite having less than stellar results.  I'm pretty sure this is my biggest in month so far in terms of volume, and I've done a lot to curb my tilt.  (I only had one incident where a mouse got smashed and that was after being 2-outered for the third time in a session).  I still have lots of work to do on my game (don't we all?) and on my tilt, so we'll see how things go.  Some targets I've set for myself for the month of October
a) Tighten up a bit more preflop out of position
b) Pick better spots for AK preflop
c) Work on balancing my river ranges, and pretty much all of my ranges when not playing as the aggressor.
  The score from the double deuce put me at about 3k overall for the month (which is still respectable, imo) but I'd obviously like to be performing better in cash games.  Talking with SoundedSimple and threads13 about variance has made me feel a bit better (I used to think 100k hands was a solid indicator of WR) so I'm excited about just playing as well as I can.
My roll is decent enough atm to take a few shots at 1/2, and so far, October is looking well. Â If I can stay at a mix of 100 and 200 for the month, I'll be pleased. Â Â

Your DC one i mean, your FTP one i'm not so sure... although playing against someone with that SN would tilt me so I guess that's a good thing.

seems like a lot of FR grinders are having tough months lately. one of the best SSFR players I talk to has broken even for 100k+ hands over the last 2 months, and he isn't concerned - just try to put in high-quality sessions as often as possible and make sure to review HH's and results with friends to see if you're playing bad.
btw - What's with the free fall at 38k hands? Are you mixing stakes?

TY Mitch! :) I made that name up as a joke because my friend was playing on play money on FTP (I didn't have an account at the time). I made the account with a name that'd tilt my friend and then I called her while harrassing her at the tables. :D Fun stuffs.

Gold, yeah, the cycle was run decent, move up, get smashed, repeat. At 38k I played 100NL rush for a day...then decided to drop back down. Quite possibly the shortest shot-take ever? As for posting HHs and such, I'd been really bad about that for awhile and picked it back up late in the month to work on my game away from the tables. It's definitely helping me out. :)
