2010's off to a decent start
I feel like the new kid on the block. Being a SSNL FR player, and one of the newer hires, I’ve got small fish/big pond syndrome. (not “fish†in the poker sense…you know what I mean!). Of course, I’m super-excited to be here and look forward to posting more about my life, poker, and pretty much anything that’s on my mind.
So far, 2010 is going okay. Rush poker is phenomenal and I’m starting to like not playing with a HUD. Given that I work part-time, being able to squeeze 3k hands out of 3 hours of work I can muster in a day is really great. Also, for the first time, I’m actually playing with a decent roll for my stakes. For the longest time I’ve only played on about 20 BI and as a result, have had to move up and down in stakes pretty frequently. Playing with a larger roll has taken a huge amount of pressure off and really allowed me to focus on game-play as opposed to money.
