Not sure if I've set the blog up proper. Oh well, lets hope the poker goes better.

EDIT in the original post: Here we go. I quit university today. Tonight, I start my new career as a poker professional at 10nl. Wish me luck!

Quitting uni to play 10nl professionally is a terrible option, just to let you know.

LOL. Thanks for the tip but its a bit late now :)

No, the 2 events are mutually exclusive. I just happen to quit uni, and become a pro poker player on the same day.

You know, I'm not intending to stay at 10nl forever.

Read my latest blog. Being a pro at 100nl/200nl did not work out, i cant fathom how being a pro at the micros would work out.

cause ive been studying the game for 13 months (although i wasted a lot of that) but am hoping to have solved nl by 1 jan lol (the date i intend to play fulltime).

im v determined, and dont see why i shouldnt crush the game. i havent read your blog post yet so that may give me a reason why its not a good idea tho ;(

If you think you can make a living at micro stakes then it is clear you dont know the game as well as you think you do.
Not trying to mock or put you down, just give you friendly criticism.
But i fear this will be ignored and you will carry on with this. University is more important than online poker...

I dont think I can make a living playing 10nl. And I dont think you're mocking me either. Its just, with regard to my life, having a university education (having a qualification from university rather than an education, because I believe I got that) will not make 1 ounce of difference to my life chances.

Trust me, poker is not v important to my life. Having said that, until I hit 400nl, its EVERYTHING!

Getting to 400nl is hard, winning at 400nl is even harder. I wish you the best of luck in your decisions.
