Well I've already beaten the micros over decent samples in the past. I just chose 30BI as it would allow me sufficient money to play the next stake if I started with $300 in my account. (300 for 10NL, 600 for 25NL, 1350 for 50NL, 2850 for 100NL) But I do have a decent bankroll that I withdrew before starting this challenge. So being that I know I'm +EV in these games, its not an issue for me to deposit some more money if I happen to run really bad.

I don't think 5NL is very different than 10NL so if you're able to beat 5NL over a decent sample, allot $60 of your $240 to playing 10NL. Try playing a few sessions of just 10NL and see how it goes. If you keep winning then just keep playing 10NL. If you start losing, you already know you can rebuild at 5NL. (This is all assuming you feel comfortable playing 10NL and have been doing ok while just mixing in a few tables)

Nice, will definitively keep track of this blog.
Do you advice making 30 BI before moving up to higher limits? I'm playing 5NL with RB, $240. Made $70 this month at 5NL, so when I reach $150 I'm ready for 10NL you think? Have been taking shots at 10NL and it went okay.

Revi,

In no particular order:

- VALUE BET, VALUE BET, AND KEEP VALUE BETTING. You don't need TPTK to get three streets of value. Figure out who will call you down with bottom pair and start value betting second pair. If your never getting called by a better hand your not value betting thin enough.

- Figure out which regulars cbet and immediately are done with the hand. Floating these guys is like printing money.

- Identify the regulars who play 17/15, fold to 80+% of 3B's and just attack them. You can 3B like every other hand vs them and they are never going to adjust. (I have noticed there are a lot of fish who like to cold call 3B's oop, so make sure you look at who is in the blinds before you 3B.)

- Just play simple ABC poker and you will win at 10NL. Incorporating light 3B's, floating, bluff raising etc will work and increase your winrate against select players but if you can't properly determine the right spots to do it you're just going to be spewing money.
