Some weeks passed since my last post here, so i think it’s time for at least a small update.

Since my last post i did not play for about 2 Weeks (with one week without poker). I worked out a lot, had to wrote a law test ( i think i failed ;) ) and tried to set up a diploma thesis.

After my first poker free week since forever, i started to talk about hands again, watch Videos and most important to work against my tilt. I listened to all Poker Enlightenment audio files from Angelo and have to admit, that this stuff helped me a lot not only for poker but for living more painless.

Only want to give a quick update about last week. I really played worse and worser from hand to hand. Till today i played 18000 hands and im down another 2000$. Right now i cant control my emotions. I know the best play, but just dont want to use it. Im feeling like i want to spew money around.

Dont know whats happening to me since BF, but i tend to go tilt almost every day. Maybe i should take a long, long break, but i cant with losing control of my money on UB and now on FTP.

Sick world

I kept grinding for almost 2,5 days now and im not running very good.

At FTP i have to stepback from NL200 for a few days. I have bound a lot of money in pending cashouts(which i cant cancel LOL) and at UB right now. Combinied with my 4 weeks loosing streak (nothing wild but enough to danger my bankroll on FTP), i will stepback to NL100 or even NL50 until i am able to cash in some money again. Its kinda hard for me to go this way, but you guys know how fast you gonna blow away 15-20 stacks and i really hate to play below 40-50 BI on a limit

FTP about 2000 hands down -480$ (my W$SD is about -1k for the last 10k hands LOL :D )

I had a pretty sick run last night. I was down about $2k playing on FTP and 1 table on UB. I think i played pretty good and without any steam after loosing 80% of my Showdowns until i won a keyhand, which brought me back on track.

Villian was very aggro, 3betting almost every hand and i had a few notes on him that he calls Big Pairs against a 3bet and loves to 4bet Bluff a lot. So i lean back and called down every street (with a bad feeling in my tummy ;) ). After that i was able to win a few stacks and end with only 300$ down.

For this week i want to play at least 8k Hands on FTP (NL200), 1k Hands on UB (NL50-NL400) and 6k hands on Pokerstars.fr (NL25). It will be pretty tough for me because i have an application for a phd. spot on friday at a very renowned university. I hope i will get it :)

Tonight i will put some volume and play at least 3k hands.

Btw: I will cook bratwurst with a rucola-walnut-feta salad for tonight :) 

While at home i found some time to grind 2000 Hands.

I was not running very good, but i did a few huge mistakes like paying off a River Checkraise with a rivered Straight (he turned a Rivered Flush - i had a feeling that he is good, but i just couldnot believe it).I should have been up at least $400 without this errors. 

I think i need to be more patient and play my A-Game to win. But that is one of my major leaks for a while and just can not turn it off. Dont know why.... :-(

At the same time i started to play at Pokerstars.fr . You´re able to play there, when you are a resident of an European Country. So i decided to give it a try and cash in a few 100 Euros and try to built a bankroll with an aggressiv bankroll management.

Right now im down 100€ playing No Limit 25€, but i hope to reach NL100 in the next few weeks (i will play it when i have 1000€)

I will give you guys an overview about this site when i played 2000 hands there.

I`m not a big fan of introductions. Maybe because i dont know where to start. :-) So i ll just jump right into this blog.

I spend some time at my home town and i decided to stay the whole week, because we had an official holiday at Monday in Germany and im invited to a wedding at Friday. With my whole working stuff in my car, i can easily stay away a few days from university. 

I still have a bunch of work left getting into Benford´s Law and quantitative methods. So i dont find that much time to play poker, but yesterday i decided to play at UltimateBet again.

Since Blackfriday the traffic at NL100-NL600 dropped close to Zero, but a few regulars keep playing, because they think you ll get your money faster, when you stay active. And what can i say, after i played a few sessions a few weeks ago i was able to cashout twice within 14 days.

Thereof i keep grinding from time to time and yesterday a single NL400 game was running. I played about 200 hands and i was down close to $100, but it was one of the best games I was participating the last few month. Almost every pot was above $100 and every second at least over $200. Every bottompair was called down and I had any scope for doing some moves, but waiting for a good hand.

I was pretty carddead the whole game and was down to $500 until i get UTG 33. I decided that this is the last hand i play until i get to bed, so i opened to $12 and i we headed five-way to the Flop.

Flop was 543 and i bet close to pot and got called once. Turn was a 4 and i got it in against 42s. I won a nice pot and went to sleep with a smile on my face :)

I will try to update this blog at least once a week and maybe the next post wont be that chaotic like this one. :)
