Horrible - session of two parts
Sometimes a session just serves to kick you in the balls. As per my last post I was planning to move up to 25NL once my BR reached $500. Starting the session at $475 and having banked $25 in the previous session I was all set to really work at this one, reach $500 by the end of the evening and hit the weekend at 25NL.
To say my sessions started well would be an understatement. Just shy of 300 hands in and $20 up.

Then followed the hand from hell that started the slide.

OK – I should have shoved again after the first short stack shoved. That would have locked the pot into a heads up – I know I got greedy – was hoping that by calling I would get one of the other short stacks to come over the top and I’d felt two instead of one. But what a flop! Safe as houses as far as I could see. Arse!
Still, only $5 lost. Plenty of play left – no? Now look at the second part of my session.

I swear I couldn’t buy a pot. Every 3 bet was 4 bet shoved. Every possible draw hit the vilain. Every all in started ahead and then ended behind by the river.
So close – looks like it’s 10NL for another week.
