Full Sunday evening session and I’ve been up and down like the Abyssinian Empire. Cruising to a soft landing – finishing just short of 3BI up after about 1.2K hands

Can’t blame variance for the big hands lost – that was mainly down to a bad call and my inability to lay down top pair when it matters. I seem to think that anyone 4 betting me must be on the take. Maybe because that’s what I do.

Anyhow, first 8750 hands at 10NL has me just about $100 up so I’m happy overall.

BR is now at about $460. Plan to try my hand up at 25NL once I get to $500. Seen another blog suggesting that $750 is when to switch – maybe, but I’m impatient. I’m also well able to drop down again if it all goes pear shaped so what the heck. One problem I see in moving up a level is that you need to play at least 1500 hands before you can find you stable of fish again. That being said the worst fish I’ve found at 10NL don’t appear to be as regular as at 5NL. Also not expecting to find as many fish at 25NL – but who knows.

If only such addled thoughts went through my mind at night – instead I just dream of winning the WSOP and parading the bracelet around Villa Park! Maybe that’s even more disturbing!
