The first level - $0.02/$0.05

Started level with about $120

23K hands between 21st November 2009 and 3rd January 2010 – 45 sessions so about 500 hands per session. Profit $81.62.

Must admit I found that pretty easy. Apart from the initial variance swing the rest was pretty standard. Mainly spent the time getting used to the HUD and chasing the fish.

Best session: $40 over 500 hands – $13/hr ish – at this level can’t be sniffed at.
Worst session: -$15 over 660 hands.

Really surprised about the number of limpers down here – I mean 80-90% of the time. So easy to isolate and value bet into oblivion. Numkvik I salute you – 80/7 VPIP/PFR. Myself and two others just followed him around the tables for all of December.

Time to move on. Will be reloading with my first monthly allowance for 5 years! (Wifey just got back to work after child no. 2 and 3 years study and retraining – forgotten what it was like to have two salaries in the family!) Will be starting at $0.05/$0.1 with a BR of about $360.
