Types passive fish at NL5

From playing at NL5 on FTP I'm starting to see quite a variety of fishiness.  And I'm starting to need to adjust my betting strategy against them.

Let me explain:

Type A: the "chase draws whatever the odds but doesn't like to bluff-catch" fish draws passively and often against pot odds.  But I've seen some that can actually fold a decent hand e.g. AT on AKJxx board to a river pot bet.  So against these fish I have to vary my bet sizing according to board texture. i.e. larger on wetter boards and earlier streets, smaller on drier boards and later streets.

Type B: the "I'll bluff-catch you forever" fish.  They always think you are bluffing, or are suffering from "I can't fold such a good hand" mentality.  These are more of the classical type fish and will call you with bottom pair 3 streets etc.  So against these fish I'll bet more according to my hand strength than board texture because a) they can't hand read and b) board texture is irrelevant.

There are some others like the "too scared to put any money in" fish and "fit or fold-flop" or "fit or fold-turn" types that need some adjustments too.  The "fit or fold-flop" types love to see flops and cBets generally get them out of the pot.  There are also some "unintentional floaters".  These fish like to float simply because they love calling and seeing more streets.  Its not really floating with the intention of taking the pot away later.  So against these I have to be careful when they bet turn to not mistakenly think they are actually making a play.

September 4 days in

Ok, here is my September graph so far with showdown and EV lines.  (Running at 14.5ptBB/100)

(Btw, Non-showdown is the red line that ends at 0, EV is the higher one)

It was quite swingy and non-showdown went down a bit when I autopiloted 6 tabled without making detailed reads (700 hands in the middle).  Other hands were 2-3 tabling.

August at Nl5 (23ptBB)

I'm starting to build a roll from Nl5 at fulltilt.  One unique thing I'll be doing is to specifically play fewer tables (2-3) and making very detailed reads at the tables.  Its more an exercise in note taking, gaining specific reads and hand reading than getting volume.  Nevertheless I'll be aiming for around 700-1000 hands a day 5 days a week.

August has been a great month.  23ptBB, 2-3 tabling.
